Appointment of Brigadier General Mohammad Hossein Jalali as Commander of the IRGC Air Force
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Brigadier General Mohammad Hossein Jalali
In view of your commendable record and valuable experiences and your struggles on the battlefields and your assumption of sensitive responsibilities in the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Ministry of Defense during the imposed war, and also considering that, as stated by the late great Imam, the Army and the IRGC are two arms of the revolution, and the implication of this wise statement is that these two organizations must cooperate and assist each other in all aspects, and upon the proposal of the Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, I hereby transfer you to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and appoint you as the Commander of the IRGC Air Force.
Your duty is to bring the aforementioned force to appropriate efficiency, activate all its capacities, and especially focus on training elite commanders within that force. Cooperation and coordination with other IRGC forces through the Joint Staff of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and with other armed forces through the chain of command of the IRGC and the General Staff of the Armed Forces, is another important duty that I must emphasize. The personnel of the IRGC Air Force are obliged to appreciate your presence in that force and to cooperate to the fullest extent.
I must sincerely thank Brigadier General Hossein Dehghan for his tireless efforts and services during his command of the IRGC Air Force, and I hope that his experience and efficiency will be utilized in the armed forces.
