Appointment of Brigadier General Mohammad Ali Jafari as Commander of the IRGC Ground Forces

Brigadier General Mohammad Ali Jafari,

Based on the proposal of the Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC, I appoint you, who are one of the insightful elements with a brilliant record in command and leadership of operations on the battlefields during the imposed war, as the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. I express my gratitude to Brigadier General Izadi, whose valuable efforts and endeavors in organizing this force are unforgettable. It is evident that the maximum use of the capabilities and experiences of that dear brother should be made in the IRGC. Your main mission is the command and administration of the IRGC Ground Forces and striving to increasingly strengthen this main structure of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
