Appointment of Brigadier General Mohammad Sohrabi as Commander of the Law Enforcement Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Brigadier General Sohrabi,
In view of the proposal by the honorable Minister of Interior and considering the qualifications, commitment, and competence you have demonstrated throughout your past services, I appoint you as the Commander of the Law Enforcement Forces of the Islamic Republic.
This young force, which is the assembly and product of all the experiences and efficiencies of the law enforcement element in the Islamic Republic, must be organized and managed at the highest level of commitment and capability. Revolutionary, committed, efficient, and compassionate individuals must, while observing all the aspects of a military organization, bring law enforcement work to the highest quality. This force must establish security, order, and tranquility along with Islamic ethics and manners throughout the country.
I find it necessary to sincerely thank the previous commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Committee and the Islamic Republic's police force, whose valuable efforts are ongoing charities and have paved the way for the work of this fresh force. I also extend my heartfelt gratitude to all those who made concentrated and effective efforts in fulfilling the legal duty of forming the Law Enforcement Forces of the Islamic Republic.
May God grant success to all.
