Appointment of Hojjat al-Islam Mohammad Hassan Rahimian as Representative of the Supreme Leader in the Martyrs Foundation

Hojjat al-Islam Haj Sheikh Mohammad Hassan Rahimian (may his success continue)

In view of your recognition and dedication to the affairs of the honorable families of the martyrs, and thanks be to God, your period of sincere service to these dear ones, and considering your long-standing background in the revolution and your sincere services to the beloved departed Imam (may his soul be sanctified), and with regard to the trust of the honorable President in appointing you as the head of the Martyrs Foundation, I appoint you as my representative in that honorable and sacred institution.

The important duty of that representation is to attend to the spiritual and cultural affairs of the dear witnesses, who are the heirs of martyrdom and the main investors in the revolution and the independence of the country. The cultural effort of that representation should aim to fill the atmosphere of society with the fragrance of martyrdom and to clarify the great right of the martyrs and their families upon the Iranian nation, so that everyone knows that the life of society and the dignity and power of Islamic Iran, and indeed the awakening and pride of Muslims around the world, are owed to the sacrifices of these worthy children of the homeland and their relatives. All members of society should consider themselves obliged to fulfill their spiritual rights, and these honorable families should feel that they are at the forefront of the revolution and have taken on an effective and valuable share of the proud efforts of the Iranian nation. They should always rely on and hope for the help and assistance of the Almighty to fulfill their revolutionary duties, and the parents, spouses, and children of the martyrs, with knowledge of the high rank of martyrdom and adherence to the requirements of this great Islamic value, should feel the eternal life and constant presence of their martyr in the arena of life.

I pray to the great God for your success in performing this crucial duty.
