Appointment of Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Ahmad Mohseni Gorkani as Representative of the Guardian and Friday Prayer Leader of Arak

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Thanks be to God, Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings upon Muhammad and his pure family, and may God's curse be upon all their enemies.

Following the unfortunate loss of the striving scholar, the late Hujjat al-Islam Mr. Mahmoudi Golpayegani, the deceased Friday Prayer Leader of Arak, and in appreciation of his sincere efforts and prayers for forgiveness and elevation of his soul, I appoint the honorable Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Ahmad Mohseni Gorkani (may his blessings continue) as my representative and the Friday Prayer Leader of Arak. He is a scholarly figure with commendable records in knowledge and practice, and it is hoped that the dear and loyal people of Arak will fully benefit from his presence, and that he will, with divine success, attend to his important religious and social duties.

He is also authorized to manage religious affairs and collect religious funds and spend them in the prescribed expenditures. It is necessary to send half of the blessed shares to be spent in the sacred religious seminaries to me, and in all matters, I recommend him to adhere to what our righteous predecessors have advised, namely, observing piety, avoiding desires, and adhering to caution in religious and worldly matters. Peace be upon him and upon our believing brothers, and God's mercy and blessings.
