In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings. I am very grateful to the Almighty God for granting me the opportunity to be here today, just as in previous years, to serve you dear youth and to benefit from your warm presence and your pure and bright hearts in this session, God willing.

Peace be upon Hussein and upon Ali ibn Hussein and upon the children of Hussein and upon the companions of Hussein who sacrificed their lives for Hussein (peace be upon him).

These forty days from Ashura to Arbaeen represent one of the most important periods in the history of Islam. The day of Ashura is of utmost significance, and these forty days between Ashura and Arbaeen are a continuation of the day of Ashura. If the day of Ashura is the peak of struggle accompanied by sacrifice—sacrificing one’s life, sacrificing loved ones, children, and companions—these forty days represent the peak of struggle accompanied by clarification, exposure, and explanation. If these forty days did not exist, if the great movement of Zainab al-Kubra (peace be upon her) and Umm Kulthum and Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) did not occur, perhaps the phrase "to rescue Your servants from ignorance and the confusion of misguidance" would not have taken place. This great movement, this extraordinary patience of the Prophet's family, led by Zainab al-Kubra (peace be upon her) and Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him), was what made the event of Karbala everlasting, and in the truest sense, this clarification complemented that sacrifice.

I would like to use this statement to convey that you dear youth and students, who are truly the apple of the nation’s eye and the hope for the future of this country, should give importance to the issue of "clarification." There are many truths that need to be clarified. In the face of this misleading movement that is pouring in from all directions towards the Iranian nation and influencing public opinion, which is one of the major goals of the enemies of Iran, Islam, and the Islamic Revolution, and keeping the thoughts of the people, especially the youth, ambiguous, the "movement of clarification" is a countermeasure against this enemy conspiracy and this enemy movement.

Each of you, as a duty, should illuminate your surroundings like a lamp, like a light. Today, fortunately, the field is open for the dissemination of thoughts. This public space, alongside the problems it may create, also has great blessings; you can disseminate correct thoughts, correct ideas, respond to objections, and address ambiguities in this space using this opportunity, and you can truly strive in this regard. Of course, the essential principle in this matter is that one must follow an ethical approach in this work. We must strictly avoid the actions of some who, in cyberspace or in the media and in articles here and there, confront public opinion with insults, accusations, deceit, and lies. The truths must be disseminated with strong logic, sound speech, complete rationality, accompanied by the adornment of emotion and human feelings, and by employing ethics. Today, we all must move in this field; each in their own way and with the share they have in this path.

I hope, God willing, that the Almighty God grants you all success. Our youth today, thanks be to God, are equipped; equipped with thought, equipped with rationality, equipped with abundant awareness, and they can strive greatly in these areas. Prepare yourselves, increase these equipments within yourselves, and truly equip yourselves and enter this field: in the field of clarification and exposure, that is the path that Zainab al-Kubra (peace be upon her) undertook during these forty days. The greatness of these forty days is due to the work that this great lady and Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) and others around them did and endured hardships, and if we want to speak in the language of mourning, on the day of Arbaeen, Zainab al-Kubra came to report to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) what we did, how we went, how we endured, and how we expressed and clarified.

I hope, God willing, that the Almighty God grants you all success. The path of Imam Hussein is a blessed path, a sweet path, a successful path, a path that leads to certain results. God willing, you will be able to, inspired by the movement of Hussein and utilizing the teachings of Hussein, lead this country to the peaks of true happiness—both spiritual happiness and material happiness; this is the way; this is the way. The correct path is to move in the light of the guidance of Hussein and the Imams of Guidance (peace be upon them) and the Quran and the Ahlulbayt.

God willing, may you be successful, and may God grant you success; may He accept you; may He bestow His grace upon these pure tears and bright hearts, and may He allow us to benefit from the blessings of your existence, dear youth, and may He adorn this country with your logical and reasoned struggles.

I am glad that today we were able to serve you again, and I ask God Almighty for the pure spirit of the Imam and the blessed souls of the martyrs, our dear martyr Soleimani and his companions, and the valuable scholar who recently passed away, the late Mr. Hassan Zadeh (may God be pleased with him), to grant them divine grace.

Peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings.
