Sermons of Friday Prayers in Tehran
First Sermon
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Thanks be to God, the Lord of the worlds. We praise Him, seek His help, ask for His forgiveness, and put our trust in Him. We send blessings and peace upon His beloved, His chosen one among His creation, the guardian of His secrets and the messenger of His messages, the bringer of His blessings and the warner of His wrath, our master and prophet, Abu al-Qasim al-Mustafa Muhammad, and upon his pure and chosen family, especially the Awaited One of God among the inhabitants of the earth. May God send blessings upon the leaders of the believers, the guides of the oppressed, and the protectors of the faithful.
I invite all dear brothers and myself to observe piety. If we seek divine assistance, it is in piety; if we desire divine success and guidance, it is in piety; if we want relief and resolution in personal and social matters, it is in piety. We must all strive to make divine piety the standard of our actions. In Friday prayers, what is important is the exhortation to piety; I, myself, am more in need of this exhortation than you, and we hope that the Almighty God grants us the ability to observe divine piety to the best of our ability.
There is a profound and meaningful verse in Surah Ibrahim (Abraham). Today, my discussion revolves around this verse and the verses that follow it. It states: "And We certainly sent Moses with Our signs, saying, 'Bring your people out of darkness and into light, and remind them of the days of God.'" (1) It advises and commands Prophet Moses to "remind them of the days of God." There are two interpretations of the phrase "remind them of the days of God" that do not differ in the purpose we derive from this verse. One interpretation is that it means to remind them of the days of God; the other interpretation is that it means to remind them of God, religion, and the Day of Judgment through the days of God. The importance of the days of God is evident here, as the great prophet Moses is commanded to remind the people of the days of God. Then it states: "Indeed, in that are signs for every patient and grateful person." (2) The days of God are signs, indicators, and evidence of the path. For whom? For those who possess these two qualities: they are patient and grateful. Patient means someone who is entirely steadfast and enduring, wholly devoted to patience and perseverance; grateful means someone who recognizes the blessing and expresses gratitude for it, and I will elaborate on this gratitude later. Then in the next verse, it states that Prophet Moses acted upon this command: "And when Moses said to his people, 'Remember the favor of God upon you when He saved you from the family of Pharaoh.'" (3) He reminded them of their salvation from Pharaoh, from the oppressive and dominant power that had enslaved them; this is one of the examples of the days of God: "When He saved you from the family of Pharaoh." Thus, this day became one of the days of God; the day when communities and individuals are saved from the hands of oppressive powers. Following this is the general proclamation of the Lord: "And when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase your favor upon you; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.'" (4) If you express gratitude for the blessings we have given you, we will increase them day by day; but if you are ungrateful and do not fulfill the duties of gratitude, then there will be divine punishment and many difficulties will arise for you. Then in the next verse, it summarizes the overall message: "And Moses said, 'If you disbelieve, you and whoever is on the earth entirely, indeed, God is Free of need and Praiseworthy.'" (5) When we say to be grateful, when we say to be mindful of God's blessings, do not forget God's blessings, this is for your own benefit; otherwise, the Almighty God is self-sufficient.
Well, the days of God are important; I want to talk about the days of God; for whom? For the people who are patient and grateful. Patient means they are entirely steadfast and enduring, they do not retreat from the field for the slightest thing, they stand firm. Grateful means, first, they recognize the blessing, they see the hidden and apparent dimensions of the blessing; secondly, they appreciate the blessing, meaning they understand the value, weight, and price of this blessing; thirdly, based on this, they feel a sense of responsibility; a nation, a community, a people that are not impatient, that do not lack a sense of responsibility. These verses are from Surah Ibrahim, which was revealed in Mecca; that is, at a time when Muslims were at the peak of struggles and resistance against the forces of disbelief, these verses were revealed to them, giving them glad tidings, telling them that the Almighty God has days of God, and He will grant you those days of God; you must be grateful for the days of God. If you respond correctly and gratefully to what the Almighty God has given you, He will grant you even more victories in the future. These few points in this noble verse are the subject of our discussion today in the first sermon.
The past two weeks have been eventful and exceptional for us; bitter events, sweet events, and instructive incidents have occurred for the Iranian nation during these two weeks. What does the day of God mean? It means the day when one observes the hand of God's power in events; the day when tens of millions in Iran, and hundreds of thousands in Iraq and some other countries came to the streets in honor of the blood of the commander of the Quds Force, forming the largest farewell in the world; this is one of the days of God. What happened could not have been the work of any agent other than the hand of God's power. The day when the missiles of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps struck the American base, that day was also one of the days of God. (6) We witnessed these two days as part of the days of God in the past few days, in these two weeks; these are turning points in history, they are history-making days, they are not ordinary days. The fact that a force, a nation, has the power and spiritual capacity to slap such a blow to a proud and arrogant power shows the hand of divine power; thus, that day is among the days of God; days pass, but the impacts of these days remain in the lives of nations; in the spirit of nations, in the character of nations, in the path of nations, the effects that these days leave behind are lasting and sometimes eternal.
Now, we believe that the Iranian society is a patient and grateful society; our nation is a resilient nation and a grateful nation. Throughout these many years, the Iranian nation has always been grateful for the divine favors during these years. We, the patient and grateful nation, must learn from these verses. We said the first issue is to identify the material and spiritual dimensions of this phenomenon. I say, after 41 years of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, which power brought this unparalleled crowd to the field? Who created this tear and love and enthusiasm? What force could show such a miracle other than the hand of divine power? Those who cannot see the hand of God's power in these events and analyze these matters materially will fall behind. We must see the hand of God's power. The spiritual and very important dimension of this incident is that the Almighty God does this work. When the Almighty God creates such a movement in the nation, one must feel that divine will is with the victory of this nation. This indicates that divine will is that this nation moves along this path and is victorious. It also reflects the spirituality and essence of this nation. This love, this loyalty, this steadfastness, and this great allegiance to the line of the Imam; the people have pledged allegiance with their presence in the field to the line of the Imam; an allegiance of such magnitude, even after more than thirty years since the passing of Imam Khomeini (may his soul be sanctified), this is how the people pledge allegiance to the Imam, this is how the Imam lives on. What happened that after the efforts of the Zionist news empire - just days before this incident and after this incident, the Zionist news empire tried to accuse our dear commander of being a terrorist; the President of the United States said it, his Secretary of State said it, Zionist news agencies around the world repeated "terrorist, terrorist" - the Almighty God turned the page completely opposite to what they wanted? Not only here in Iran, but in various countries, people sent greetings to the spirit of this great martyr and burned the flags of America and the Zionists. Can the hand of God not be seen clearly? Does the phrase "Do not grieve, indeed, God is with us" (7) not show this? This was said about the Prophet, in the utmost severity, in the Cave of Thawr, alone, without anyone, He says to him, "Do not grieve, indeed, God is with us" (8); does this not show? Does this statement of Prophet Moses to the Children of Israel, who were frightened and said, "Indeed, we are being overtaken" (9) now that the forces of Pharaoh are coming to besiege us and completely finish us off, does not show that Moses said, "No, indeed, my Lord is with me; He will guide me" (10); can one not see here that "Indeed, my Lord is with me"? Can the Iranian nation not feel that "Indeed, God is with us"? (11) God has activated His hands of power in this country, in this society, among this nation. This great martyrdom itself - which was related to the funeral - this martyrdom is also one of the signs of divine power; it brought disgrace to the American government, the disreputable American government; it marked the disgrace of this government; they assassinated the most renowned and powerful commander in the fight against terrorism - Martyr Soleimani, in the true sense of the word, the strongest commander in the fight against terrorism in this region, he is recognized as such - [they assassinated him]; which other commander had the power to do what he did? In a region that is under a 360-degree siege by the enemy, Martyr Soleimani enters this area by helicopter, in complete siege by the enemy, there are good young people in that area who are alone, they have no commander, when they see Haj Qassem Soleimani, they gain life, they gain spirit, they gain motivation, they break the siege and drive the enemy away; who can do these things? The commander against terrorism in the entire region, the strongest and most renowned commander, was assassinated. They did not confront him in the battlefield; the American government cowardly and treacherously assassinated him, and they themselves admitted it; this [act] brought disgrace to America; in this region, before this incident, such actions were specific to the Zionist regime, which would assassinate individuals, they assassinated the leader of Hamas and said we did it, they assassinated the leader of Jihad and said we did it; they would assassinate and say we did it; Americans have killed many people; in Iraq, in Afghanistan, in other places, they have killed as many people as they could, but they did not admit that we did the assassination; here they admitted that we did the assassination; here the President of the United States himself [admits] that the Almighty God strikes behind the necks of individuals so that they confess; they confessed that we are terrorists, they said we did the assassination. What greater disgrace can there be? The powerful response of the IRGC is also worthy of reflection. This day of God, the funeral and martyrdom of the great martyr is one side of the issue, the powerful reaction of the IRGC is the other side of the issue, and that is also worthy of reflection; this was a blow to America. Of course, it was a military blow, an effective military blow, but more important and higher than the military blow was the blow to the dignity of the American superpower. (12) America has been suffering blows in Syria, in Iraq, in Lebanon, in Afghanistan for years, from the powerful resistance, but this blow was greater than all of them; this blow was a blow to the dignity of America; this blow cannot be compensated for by anything. Now they announce that we have imposed sanctions, they increase the sanctions, but this cannot restore the lost dignity of America. This powerful response had such a characteristic. This is also a manifestation of divine assistance that is the response to sincere struggle.
My dear ones, brothers and sisters in prayer! Sincerity has blessings. Wherever there is sincerity, the Almighty God blesses the sincerity of His sincere servants, the work gains blessings, it grows and flourishes, and its effects reach everyone, its blessings remain among the people. This is due to sincerity. The result of that sincerity is this love and loyalty of the people, this tear and sigh of the people, this presence of the people, this renewal of the revolutionary spirit of the people. However, if we come to evaluate these events, to price them, to appreciate them and see how much the measure and price of these events are; this can only be realized if we do not look at Haj Qassem Soleimani - the dear martyr - and Abu Mahdi - the dear martyr - as individuals; we must look at them as a school. Let us view our dear martyr commander as a school, a path, a lesson-giving institution, and then the importance of this issue will become clear. The value and price of this issue will become clear. We should not see the Quds Force merely as an administrative organization; rather, we should observe it as a human institution with great and clear human motivations. If this is the case, then the gathering of the people, this honoring and respecting of the people, the appreciation of the people will take on another meaning. Of course, all our armed forces, from the army, the IRGC, and the Basij, their ideological foundation is divine goals, without a doubt. Today, this is the issue in our country. The ideological foundation of all our armed forces is these divine and lofty goals. The Quds Force is a force that looks at everyone and everywhere with an open mind. Fighters without borders; fighters without borders. Fighters who are present wherever there is a need; they preserve the dignity of the oppressed, they make themselves a shield for the sacred and holy sanctuaries. Let us look at the Quds Force in this light; then, these very individuals, those who with their lives, with all their strength, go to help the nations and the weak around the region that are within their reach, these very individuals keep the shadow of war and terror and destruction away from our own country and repel it. Our dear homeland's security is significantly a product of the work of these faithful young people who have worked for years under the command of our dear martyr commander; they bring security for the country; yes, they go to help Palestine and Gaza and other areas where they are needed, but they also create security for our own country. The enemy that America has equipped is not for Iraq and Syria, but ultimately for Iran, dear Iran; they created ISIS not just to dominate in Iraq, the ultimate goal was Iran. They wanted to create insecurity and turmoil for us through this; they wanted to disrupt our security, our borders, our cities, our families; they were stopped by the help of these faithful and dear young people who went and carried out this great effort.
Those deceived individuals who once shouted "No Gaza, No Lebanon," not only did they not sacrifice their lives for Iran, they were not even willing to sacrifice their comfort and interests for the country; those who sacrificed their lives for Iran were these very Soleimanis; they were the ones who, when the need arose to defend the country, took their lives in their hands and went to the battlefield to defend the country, to defend Iran; these are the ones who can claim that they defend the security of the country, the security of the nation; it is this self-sacrifice and sincerity that has been the case at all stages. Well, with this perspective, we can discover the Iranian nation and the spirituality of the nation and the essence of the nation. Those who came to the streets, millions of people who walked under the coffin of these dear ones in Tehran, in Qom, in Kerman, in Khuzestan, and [other cities], and those who saw from afar and shed tears, and those who in various cities were able to mourn for them from afar - truly tens of millions of our nation participated in this great test - we can discern the essence of these people, the truth of these people. The nation, from every faction and party, from every group, from every geographical characteristic, is united in this direction; they are supporters of the revolution, supporters of the Islamic governance, supporters of standing against oppression, supporters of saying "no" to all the ambitions of the arrogant and colonial powers.
The Iranian nation has shown that it defends the line of courageous struggle, the Iranian nation has shown that it loves the symbols of resistance, the Iranian nation has shown that it supports resistance, it does not support submission. Those who try to show something else from our great nation to the people and to the foreign public opinion or the domestic public opinion do not behave sincerely and honestly with the people; this is the nation, the nation supports steadfastness, supports resistance, the nation supports standing against the arrogance of the enemies. These American clowns who deceitfully and shamelessly say that we are alongside the people of Iran, let them see who the people of Iran are. Those few hundred who insult the image of our proud martyr, are they the people of Iran or this massive million-strong crowd that shows themselves in the streets? (13) The spokespersons of the wicked American government keep repeating that we are alongside the people of Iran. You are lying! If you are alongside the people of Iran, it is because you want to plunge your poisoned dagger into the chest of the people of Iran. Of course, until now you have not been able to, and after this, you certainly will not be able to do anything. (14) The Iranian nation has shown itself in this issue, has shown its essence, has shown its foundational ideology; the sincere feelings of the Iranian nation have been revealed; this cry for revenge that was heard from the people throughout the country, in fact, this cry for revenge was the true fuel of the missiles that turned the American base upside down. (15)
Another point that must be noted regarding the importance of this day of God is that the Almighty God says to Moses, "And remind them of the days of God"; (16) that is, the days of God must remain in the memory of the people; some try to let these sensitive days of God slip into oblivion, to raise other issues, perhaps they can overshadow the memory of this great day of God. One such issue was the regrettable incident of the plane crash. Well, the plane crash was a bitter incident; it truly burned our hearts. Losing our dear youth, our good people, and those who were here from other countries was a very bitter incident. There is no doubt about this; however, some, following and guided by American television and English radio, tried to arrange this incident in such a way that the great day of God resulting from the martyrdom of these two dear martyrs would be forgotten. They tried to do something that they thought would overshadow that great incident. Individuals who show no interest in national interests and the interests of the country; one truly wonders. Now some are young, emotional, and deceived; some are not young; one sees that they are not willing to understand national interests, to comprehend them, to stand by these interests. What the enemy desires is expressed through the words of these individuals, in their actions, they manifest themselves. I want to say that as much as we grieved over this plane crash and sorrow fell upon our hearts, our enemy was just as happy about this incident; our enemy was happy; thinking that they had found a pretext to question the IRGC, to question the armed forces, to question the Islamic Republic system. They wanted to do this, perhaps they could overshadow that great incident; they made a mistake. "And they planned, and Allah planned, and Allah is the best of planners." (17) They plotted, but they did not know that their plotting has no effect against the hand of God's power, and they cannot do this. The incident of the day of God, the funeral of the martyr, and the incident of striking the American base will not be forgotten from the minds of these people, and day by day, God willing, it will become more alive.
I must sincerely once again express my condolences to the families of this tragedy - we share in their grief - and thank the parents and families who, despite their hearts being full of pain and sorrow, stood against the enemy's plots and temptations, took a stance contrary to what the enemies desired and spoke out. The mother of one of these dear ones who was on that plane wrote to me and expressed that "We stand by the Islamic Republic, we stand by your motivations." This requires courage, this requires understanding and insight, and one truly feels respect and reverence for such personalities with all their being.
Let us also mention that one of the other actions taken to overshadow these great events was the actions of these three European governments; the wicked government of England, the government of France, and the government of Germany; threatening Iran that we will take the nuclear issue back to the Security Council; fortunately, the officials of the country firmly responded to them, a strong response was given to them; these three countries are the same three countries that during the imposed war against us, helped Saddam Hussein as much as they could; the German government provided chemical weapons and chemical weapon tools to Saddam Hussein to target cities and fronts with those weapons, the effects of which still exist among our old warriors; the French government provided super Etendard war helicopters to Saddam Hussein to strike our oil tankers; their records are like this; the British government was entirely at the service of our enemies, at the service of Saddam. This is how they are, their records are like this, they are acting like this today as well. We must look at them in this light. I have said from the beginning, after America's exit from the JCPOA, that these three governments kept talking, kept making nonsense, I said on that day that I do not trust them, they will do nothing, they will be at the service of America; today it has become completely clear, after about a year, it has become evident that they are, in the true sense of the word, America's lackeys; they are America's lackeys. At that time, these petty governments are waiting to bring the Iranian nation to its knees. America, which was your elder, your leader, your master, could not bring the Iranian nation to its knees; you are too small to bring the Iranian nation to its knees. (18) Even when they negotiate, their negotiations are mixed with deceit and trickery; those who appear at the negotiating table, those gentlemen at the negotiating table, are the same terrorists from Baghdad airport; they are the same ones; there is no difference; they change clothes; this is a gloved hand that takes off its velvet covering and shows itself, otherwise, the essence is the same; there is no difference. They cannot be trusted.
Now that the Iranian nation has recognized this incident, has understood its value and price; what should we do? I will say in one word: the dear Iranian nation must strive to become strong. (19) The only way forward for the Iranian nation is to become strong; we must strive to become strong; we have no objection to negotiations; of course, not with America, but with others; but not from a position of weakness, from a position of strength, from a position of power. Thanks be to God, we are powerful and, with God's grace, we will become even stronger. Of course, power is not just military power; power, economic power must be strengthened, dependence on oil must be eliminated, we must free ourselves from the dependence of our economy on oil; scientific and technological leaps must continue; the backing of all this is the presence of our dear people in the field. The Iranian nation and the officials of the country must strive for the strengthening of the country and the strengthening of the nation, with unity, with presence, with patience and perseverance, and with hard work and avoidance of laziness; if this is achieved, with God's grace, the Iranian nation in the not-too-distant future will be such that the enemies will not even dare to threaten. ...
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful × By the time × Indeed, mankind is in loss, except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised one another to truth and advised one another to patience.
Second Sermon
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful And thanks be to God, the Lord of the worlds, and blessings and peace be upon our master and prophet, Abu al-Qasim al-Mustafa Muhammad and his pure family, especially Ali, the Commander of the Faithful, and his beloved Fatimah al-Zahra, and Hasan and Husayn, the masters of the youth of Paradise, and Ali ibn Husayn, Zain al-Abidin, and Muhammad ibn Ali al-Baqir, and Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sadiq, and Musa ibn Ja'far al-Kazim, and Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha, and Muhammad ibn Ali al-Jawad, and Ali ibn Muhammad al-Hadi, and Hasan ibn Ali al-Zaki al-Askari, and the Awaited Mahdi, may God's blessings be upon them all. I advise you, O servants of God, to observe piety.
I again recommend all brothers and sisters to consider divine piety in speech, in action, in behavior, in interactions, in the manifestation of moral qualities, in all of these, to keep divine piety in mind, to consider God's pleasure. I will present two brief points, then I will address some matters to the Arab brothers. Two brief points, one regarding the plane incident, for which we again express our condolences and sympathy. There are ambiguities surrounding this incident. We thank the commanders of the IRGC who explained and provided information to the people, but the incident must be pursued, and serious prevention must be taken against similar incidents in the future. What is important is that pursuit is important, but more important than pursuit is the prevention of the recurrence of these incidents.
The second point is regarding the elections. I will speak about the elections, God willing, but what I want to say today is this: dear brothers, dear sisters, dear Iranian nation! The presence of the Iranian nation is the most important factor of power, and this presence is in many places; one of the most important is the elections. The presence of the Iranian nation in elections secures the country and discourages the enemy. The enemies' efforts are to prevent the people from participating in the elections with enthusiasm and eagerness through various means and tricks. I say: the people must participate in the elections with enthusiasm and eagerness. Now there are various issues regarding the elections, there are reminders that, God willing, if we are alive, I will present in the future. What I wanted to convey today is the essence of this matter; be vigilant so that the enemy does not achieve its goal in this regard; which is to diminish and undermine the elections.
Arabic Sermon
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Thanks be to God, the Lord of the worlds, and blessings be upon Muhammad and his pure family and his chosen companions.
I would like to take this sensitive moment in the history of this region to have a brief discussion with you, O Arab brothers.
In these days, a great and brave Iranian commander and a devoted and sincere Iraqi fighter were martyred by American military arms and by the order of the American terrorist president. This crime was not committed in the field of confrontation, but rather occurred in a cowardly and vile manner.
Commander Soleimani was that man who would breach the front lines and fight with rare courage in the most dangerous positions, and he was the effective factor in defeating the elements of ISIS and its counterparts in Syria and Iraq.
The Americans did not dare to confront him in the battlefields, so they cowardly attacked him from the air while he was invited by the Iraqi government at Baghdad airport and spilled his pure blood along with his companions, thus the blood of the children of Iran and Iraq was once again mixed in the path of God Almighty.
The Iranian Guard struck a preliminary retaliatory blow to the American base and crushed the arrogance and pride of that oppressive and arrogant state, and its main punishment remains its expulsion from the region.
The Iranian people, in marches of tens of millions, honored the martyrs in various cities with an unprecedented farewell, and the Iraqi people in many cities honored them with great respect and admiration, as did peoples in various countries express their condolences in loud gatherings.
Great malicious efforts were made to create a negative perception between the Iranian and Iraqi peoples. Huge sums of money were spent, and irresponsible individuals were mobilized against the Iraqi people in Iran, and the Iraqi arena witnessed a devilish media campaign against the Iranian people; however, this great martyrdom thwarted all these devilish efforts and evil whispers.
What I want to say to you is that Islamic power... our power and your power can overcome the deceptive apparent might that material powers surround themselves with. The Western powers, relying on science and technology, military force, false media, and cunning political methods, have been able to dominate the countries of the region, and whenever they are forced to evacuate a country due to a popular uprising, they do not cease to conspire, infiltrate, and politically and economically dominate, and they have implanted the cancerous tumor of Zionism in the heart of the countries of West Asia and have aimed to place the countries of the region under constant threat.
After the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, the Zionist entity suffered severe political and military blows, followed by a series of defeats for the arrogant powers, led by America, from Iraq and Syria to Gaza and Lebanon and even Yemen and Afghanistan.
The enemy's media accuses Iran of instigating proxy wars, and this is a great lie, for the peoples of the region have awakened, and Iran's ability in its long-standing resistance against the malice of America has left its mark on the general atmosphere of the region and on the morale of the peoples. The fate of the region depends on liberation from American arrogant hegemony and the liberation of Palestine from the control of foreign Zionists.
All peoples bear the responsibility of achieving this goal. The Islamic world must eliminate the factors of division. The unity of religious scholars can discover the new Islamic way of life. The cooperation of our universities can elevate science and technology, and thus can lay the foundation for a new civilization. The coordination between our media can reform the roots of public culture. The cohesion between our military forces will keep the entire region away from wars and aggression. The connection between our markets will liberate the economies of our countries from the control of plundering companies. The exchange of visits between our peoples will bring hearts and thoughts closer, creating a spirit of unity and affection among them. Our enemies and your enemies want to achieve their economic advancement at the expense of the wealth of our countries, and to build their dignity at the expense of the humiliation of our peoples, and to record their superiority at the price of our division. They want to annihilate us by our own hands. America aims to render Palestine defenseless against the cruel and criminal Zionists, and to place Syria and Lebanon under the control of its dependent and treacherous governments, and it wants all of Iraq and its oil wealth to belong to it. To achieve this nefarious goal, it does not hesitate to commit the greatest injustices and aggressions. The difficult tests that Syria has gone through and the ongoing provocations and destructive actions in Iraq are examples of this.
The blatant assassination of Abu Mahdi, the brave commander of the Popular Mobilization Forces, and the great martyr Soleimani are rare examples of these provocations in Iraq. They want to achieve their wicked goals in Iraq by stirring up strife and internal wars, and ultimately dividing Iraq and eliminating the believing, struggling, and national forces.
As a model of their audacity, they shamelessly declare that they are the protectors of democracy, after the Iraqi parliament approved their expulsion, they boldly state that they have come to Iraq to stay and will not leave.
The Islamic world must open a new page. The awakened consciences and believing hearts must revive self-confidence in the peoples, and everyone must know that the path to salvation for the peoples lies in management, steadfastness, and not fearing the enemy.
I ask God Almighty to encompass the Muslim peoples with His mercy and support; indeed, He is the Hearing, the Responsive.
I say this, and I seek forgiveness from God for myself and for you, and peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings.
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful × Indeed, We have granted you al-Kawthar × So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him] × Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.
And peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings.
