The Sermons of the One Thousandth Friday Prayer in Tehran Led by the Supreme Leader
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
"Thanks be to God, the Lord of the worlds. We praise Him, seek His help, believe in Him, and ask for His guidance. We seek His forgiveness, put our trust in Him, and send blessings and peace upon His beloved, His chosen one, the best of His creation, the guardian of His secrets, and the deliverer of His messages, the herald of His mercy and the warner of His wrath, our master and prophet and the beloved of our hearts, Abu al-Qasim al-Mustafa Muhammad, and upon his pure and chosen progeny, the infallible and honored guides, especially the Awaited One in the lands. God, the Wise, says in His Book: "O you who have believed, when the call to prayer is proclaimed on the day of Friday, hasten to the remembrance of God and leave off trade. That is better for you, if you only knew."
Today, the one thousandth Friday prayer in Tehran has been held with the effort and participation of you, the God-seeking, faithful, and sincere people. This blessed and lasting event from our great Imam (may his soul be sanctified), like all the traditions he established, is a source of goodness and blessing for the Islamic community. In the first sermon, I will say a few words about the Friday prayer, and since it is the month of Rajab, the month of supplication, attention, and intercession, and adorned with the birthday of the Commander of the Faithful and the Master of the Pious and the Leader of the Saints, Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him), I have chosen a short excerpt from one of his Friday sermons to adorn this sermon with his blessed name.
Before starting my speech, I find it necessary to sincerely thank all those who have participated in holding this magnificent prayer over the years - you dear and God-seeking people, the esteemed Friday prayer leaders of Tehran, and the staff and servants of the Friday prayer, both in preparing the preliminaries and in transmitting and delivering the voice of the Friday prayer to others - especially to the late Ayatollah Taleghani, who led the first Friday prayer in Tehran at the behest of the Imam, and this blessed foundation was established by his hands and presence. I also find it necessary to remember the late Ayatollah Rabbani Amoli, who was among the esteemed individuals who sometimes led the Friday prayer and has passed away, and I ask God Almighty to elevate their souls. Of course, the story of the Friday prayer is not just the story of the Friday prayer in Tehran; I will also address this matter.
According to a narration that the late Majlisi quotes from "Misbah al-Mutahajjid," on one of the Fridays, the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) delivered a sermon that began with praise and glorification of the Almighty God with the most eloquent, profound, and beautiful words, and then continued with blessings and peace upon Muhammad, the Messenger of God, the Seal of the Prophets (peace be upon him and his family), and a testimony to his servitude and prophethood, followed by statements addressed to the people, of which I will read a few phrases and suffice with their translation.
The Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) said: "I advise you, O servants of God, to be pious towards God"; I advise you to consider obedience to the Lord as a precious opportunity. "As much as you are able"; to the extent that it is within your power. "In these fleeting, perishable days"; as much as you can, in these passing days of your life that are heading towards annihilation, consider obedience to God and following the commands of the Lord as a precious opportunity. "And prepare good deeds for the great calamity that death will bring upon you"; I advise you, as much as you can, to prepare good deeds to confront the great problems and calamities that death will bring upon you - that is, to confront the unknown difficulties that humanity faces in terms of their magnitude - with good deeds. Death must be regarded as so great that the saints and great figures trembled at the thought of confronting it. The events that occur after death at the beginning of the Barzakh life are so immense, terrifying, and unbearable that the men of God - who had some knowledge of it - trembled at the thought. To confront those problems and calamities, there is only one way, and that is good deeds and working in the way of God. The only thing that will help a person there is good deeds. "In your affairs, I command you to reject this transient world"; he said: I command you - he is the Commander of the Faithful; the spiritual and material leader, the apparent and hidden leader, the leader of body and soul - to abandon these worldly adornments that abandon you, and do not think so much about material things for yourselves; for these will all perish. "And even if you do not love to abandon them"; although you do not want this wealth and this pleasure and this status to abandon you, they will abandon you. "And the world will decay your bodies, even if you wish to renew them"; this world decays and turns your bodies to dust; even if you want them to remain alive. "And your example and that of it is like a caravan that travels a path and as if they have cut it off and reached knowledge, so they have reached it"; you are traveling quickly on a road, there is a sign in the distance, you see it from afar; but whether you like it or not, you will reach it by traveling the path. This road is the world. That stone sign and that flag is the end of life, which we will inevitably reach. ... "So do not compete for the glory and pride of this world"; do not compete with one another for the transient glories and apparent prestige and fame. "And do not be amazed by its adornments and blessings"; do not be astonished by the adornments and blessings of this world. "And do not grieve over its hardships and miseries"; do not lament over the hardships and difficulties of this short life. "For the glory and pride of this world is destined to end"; this adornment and glory is heading towards extinction and destruction. "And its adornments and blessings are returning"; the beauties and blessings are returning. Youth and vitality and beauty give way to old age, depression, and lethargy. "And its hardships and miseries are coming to an end"; the hardships will also end and disappear. "And every duration in it is towards an end"; all times in this world and this life are moving towards an end. "And every living thing in it is heading towards decay"; all living beings are heading towards decay and old age.
This is the same Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) who cultivated the land with his own hands and dug wells. He spoke these words at a time when he was in power. He was at the head of a power that governed from the regions beyond the river to the Mediterranean Sea, and he managed them. He had wars, peace, politics, public treasury, activities, and construction. These words do not mean that you should not cultivate the world. These words mean that you should not consider yourself the center of all material efforts and works; do not expend all your powers for yourself; do not turn the world into hell for others for your wealth, for your gain, for your comfort, and for your money.
Be pious. Piety means being mindful of all actions that come from oneself. In every action you take, be careful about what you are doing. In every word you say, every action you take, every decision you make, pay attention that this word, this action, and this decision do not harm humanity, do not harm society, do not harm your own afterlife, and do not harm your own religion; this is piety. Every Friday, the Friday preacher repeats this to the people and to himself: "I advise you and myself to be pious towards God"; I recommend piety for you and myself. We all need to hear these recommendations, and the importance of the Friday prayer is partly in this. I will now enter into the discussion about the Friday prayer:
We have the Friday prayer from the revolution and from the Imam (may his soul be sanctified). Before the revolution, the Friday prayer in our country, both in terms of the number of Friday prayers, the number of people participating in them, and the quality of the speeches given - except for limited exceptions - was close to zero. After the revolution, the Friday prayer in Iran ranked at the top of the list of Friday prayers in the Islamic world, and this is no exaggeration. For a thousand Fridays, in Tehran and in other cities, with slight delays, a Friday prayer is held that, in terms of the number of participants, is sometimes certainly unparalleled and at other times is also rare. In terms of the type of content that is spoken, it is unparalleled in the Islamic world. In terms of the impacts that this Friday prayer has on the hearts of the people, on the souls of the people, on the political line of the people, and on the major decisions of the people, it is unparalleled in the world.
Our eight years of sacred defense drew strength from the Friday prayers and were elucidated in the Friday prayers. The hardest period of this revolution - that is, the years fifty-nine and sixty - when a massive political conspiracy against the Imam and the revolution and the country was planned and executed, this conspiracy was defeated in the Friday prayers. During this time, the people, in the Friday prayers, learned about their country and the world from the tongue of a just Imam and a trustworthy soul - who are these esteemed Friday prayer leaders who speak to the people in Tehran and other cities - and their information was updated. Such a thing does not exist anywhere else in the world. This was one of the blessings of the revolution.
Two points in this regard are very noteworthy: one point is the enmities that have been directed against the Friday prayer from the beginning of the revolution until today. Every week, heavy and extensive propaganda was carried out by the enemies against the Friday prayer. They said things that they had no fault in; because they did not know the Iranian nation. They spoke against their own interests; like many other places where foreign radios and enemy voices speak and comment on the Iranian people. They actually expose themselves to the Iranian nation and show their ignorance. They said things that made the people participating in the Friday prayer laugh. They said that each of the participants in the Friday prayer in Tehran is given a certain amount of money, a certain amount of goods! These were the same people who supported that great war with their financial backing. In this very Friday prayer in Tehran, a multitude of money, goods, and gifts from the people were sent to the fronts. How much these unknown Iranians were mistaken about these people, wronged them, and spoke nonsense!
They did not stop at propaganda and launched bloody attacks against the Friday prayer. They martyred five well-known Friday prayer leaders: the late Ayatollah Qazi, the late Ayatollah Modarresi, the late Ayatollah Sadoughi, the late Ayatollah Dastgheib, and the late Ayatollah Ashrafi. They martyred five pious, devout, and pure old scholars whom the people stood behind with heart and soul every week and followed them, right before the eyes of the same people in the Friday prayer. They attempted to assassinate many others, but thanks be to God, they did not succeed. This very Friday prayer in Tehran and this very area where you are sitting, many of you remember what events have taken place. During the prolonged missile attacks on Tehran, which occurred several times, people participated in the Friday prayer. At one time, for about fifty days or two months, every day and night, enemy missiles fell on this city, and this Friday prayer, with a massive gathering - perhaps more than at other times - was filled with people. Because there was danger, and the people felt that their presence here was a risk and for God, they participated for multiplied rewards! I remember Friday prayers during which the sound of missile explosions came from around this very Friday prayer location. In this very Friday prayer, the enemy caused a bloody explosion, and in front of the eyes of the people, some were martyred; but these people stood firm like a mountain and did not budge. I was standing right here when that explosion occurred. At first, we thought it was a missile or an air raid; I was worried that the Friday prayer would be disrupted. It turns out that we did not know our people well either. God knows that these lines did not budge. A group of explosions occurred, and for a moment there was a commotion, then the martyrs and the wounded were taken away; but the people remained seated, and the Friday prayer and the sermons continued! This Friday prayer has witnessed such scenes. The Friday prayer in Tehran, due to the effects and blessings mentioned, has been the target of the hardest attacks from the enemy over these twenty years.
And the second point. The people have kept the Friday prayer warm throughout these twenty years, despite all those hostilities. In the harsh cold of winter, under the scorching sun of July and August in Tehran, at various times, men and women, sometimes on icy ground, on snow, in heavy rain, sometimes on hot asphalt - this very area was not covered, and the entire area was exposed to the sun, rain, and snow - have preserved and honored this Friday prayer over the years, and the Friday prayer in Tehran has become the center for Friday prayers across the country. Thanks be to God, today, numerous Friday prayers are held throughout the country; people gather, and the representatives of the people speak to them, addressing religious, ideological, and political issues.
On Fridays, the people gather for the sake of piety. Daily prayers have a role for the individual that prevents forgetfulness and negligence - in the morning at the door of God's house; midday passes, at noon at the door of God's house; hours pass, again at the door of God's house; the daily prayers keep a person refreshed with the remembrance of God - the Friday prayer has the same role for the community. On Fridays, the gathering of the people is for the remembrance of God and piety. A few days pass, the next Friday, again the gathering of the people is for the remembrance of God and piety, and this chain continues. Youth, elders, women, men, and all classes participate in it and gain freshness; the community comes to life, gains spirit, renews faith, and stores piety within itself.
O Lord! We beseech You by Your saints, grant joy to the soul of our great Imam for this good tradition until the Day of Resurrection, and gather him with Your saints. O Lord! Grant Your grace, favor, blessings, acceptance, and generosity to those who have labored in this path and to the people who participated in this great gathering and established the Friday prayer.
I tell the youth to appreciate the Friday prayer; the Friday prayer belongs to you. I tell all people to consider the Friday prayer as a refuge and sanctuary for their hearts and souls. Thought and spirit gain freshness from the Friday prayer. Establish the Friday prayers. I hope that all those involved in the Friday prayers - including the esteemed Friday prayer leaders - wherever they are, prepare the spiritual provisions that the people need and present them to the minds and hearts of these God-seeking and faithful people with the best expression.
Since supplication after the first sermon is emphasized, I will say a few sentences of supplication: O Lord! Grant victory to Islam and Muslims through Muhammad and the family of Muhammad; crush the enemies of Islam; familiarize our hearts with You; grant us the success of supplication; grant us the success of repentance and return to You. O Lord! Remove the difficulties and problems of the people from their affairs. O Lord! Bring the enemies of this nation to account for their ungracious enmity. O Lord! Day by day, make the hearts of this great, faithful, God-seeking, proud, and honorable nation more filled with faith in You, remembrance of You, and Your favors.
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By Time. Indeed, mankind is in loss, except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised one another to truth and advised one another to patience.
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Thanks be to God, the Lord of the worlds. And blessings and peace be upon our master and prophet and the beloved of our hearts, Abu al-Qasim al-Mustafa Muhammad and upon his pure and chosen progeny, the infallible guides, especially the Commander of the Faithful and the pure lady, the Mistress of the Women of the Worlds, and Hasan and Husayn, the masters of the youth of Paradise, and Ali ibn Husayn, and Muhammad ibn Ali, and Ja'far ibn Muhammad, and Musa ibn Ja'far, and Ali ibn Musa, and Muhammad ibn Ali, and Ali ibn Muhammad, and Hasan ibn Ali, and the Awaited Mahdi. Your proofs over Your servants and Your trusted ones in Your lands. And I seek forgiveness from God for me and for you and I advise you to be pious towards God.
In the first sentence of this sermon, I address you, my brothers and sisters, saying that my dear ones! Do not forget the provisions of piety and advise one another to piety and righteousness. Inside the home, parents to children; children to parents and siblings; in the workplace, colleagues to one another, and in the community, all should kindly advise one another to piety. Do not allow, God forbid, that impiety takes shape in us or spreads in society.
The topics I will briefly address in the second sermon are one, expressing gratitude for your magnificent presence in the Assembly of Experts elections; second, a brief discussion about the recent disgraceful agreement against the Palestinian nation.
First, I would like to point out that today is "Youth and Adolescent Day," and its occasion is the martyrdom of a young Basij member - martyr Hossein Fahmideh. This is one of those instances where real personalities become symbols and turn into mythic truths. We have many such instances in our history. Many events, when mentioned today, seem so strange that everyone imagines them to be myths and legends; but they are true. We have seen and heard many of the most beautiful examples of this in our own time, including the martyrdom of this young Basij member. He was thirteen years old; but with growth, awareness, will, and determination, he recognized his country, recognized his Imam, recognized his enemy, recognized the importance of his existence and activity, and went to offer this sacrifice for the dignity of his country and the future of the revolution and the interests and welfare of the people. His body left; but his spirit remained alive, his memory became eternal, and his legacy turned into a symbol. This is the model.
My dear youth and adolescents! All of you can play a role in your country. One day the role was that of "Hossein Fahmideh"; another day it will be different roles. In the fields of religious issues, cultural issues, political issues, ethical issues, foresight, providing hope, energizing your surroundings, and adhering to and committing to Islamic law - which is the capital of individual and community dignity - you can strive. Of course, in these, giving your life is not the issue; but it requires effort, will, and determination. All of you can play a role in schools, universities, workplaces, and so on. A lively, energetic, hopeful, and pure youth can secure a history. That is why the Zionists, imperialists, and corporate owners of the world have worked for years to corrupt the youth; to take away their will and hope; to darken the future in their eyes; to make them hopeless about the future and to create psychological and moral problems for them. What you see in the world is not coincidental.
Of course, they have also dreamed many dreams for you, the dear youth and adolescents of our country, and plotted many schemes; but thanks be to God, they have not succeeded. Of course, this failure is due to your vigilance. Increase this vigilance in both universities and schools and pursue a correct understanding of Islamic teachings and adherence to religious and ethical duties. Transform this country, which has been striving for its prosperity for twenty years and has taken so many significant steps in your era, into a prominent and advanced point in every respect. This is your task, and it is in your hands, and you must prepare the groundwork for it within yourselves from today. The first condition is that you be pious, wise, think, recognize friends, and recognize enemies.
Regarding the Assembly of Experts elections, what I say - as mentioned - is a deep, sincere gratitude to you, the people. This action that took place in the elections and the high vote that was cast in this election astonished the enemy, the foreigner, and the biased and malicious analyst. They had calculated that at most four or five million people would go to the polls due to propaganda and statements, and the Assembly of Experts would be without support. Some said four million, some said five million, some said six million, some said eight million; but no one thought that in this election, compared to the previous election, the people's votes would increase by fifty percent. About eighteen million people went to vote for those who were not waiting for roads to be built for them, nor waiting for water and electricity to be brought to them; only out of spiritual motivation and a sense of duty; only because they recognized their country; only because they understood the importance of the Assembly of Experts and their role. This is a very significant matter. Of course, the enemy's propaganda tries to downplay this. The propagandist's job is to do just that. They say something, but political circles - those who are behind these propaganda horns and are considered thoughtful minds - understand what has happened.
You, the Iranian nation, with this magnificent and glorious election, have insured your country; you have shown the enemy that the people are present in the scene; you have shown the enemy that the people are committed to the ideals and values of the revolution and religion and respect the esteemed clerics and scholars and value the words of the great religious authorities and the words of the caring officials of the country. These are very meaningful for the enemy. The impact that this election has had - both the election itself and the results that the Assembly of Experts will inevitably have - is one of the most lasting, profound, and astonishing impacts for both friends and enemies. That is why the enemy has campaigned excessively against this Assembly. They spent nearly a year, exerted effort, propagated, and wanted to diminish its importance. They repeatedly said they would boycott; they repeatedly said they would not participate; but everything that happened proved the opposite of their opinions. The Iranian nation shows great vigilance. You have brought honor to the Islamic Republic system and to the revolution and your country. I must sincerely thank all those who played a role in this great popular movement.
The entry of the great religious authorities into this arena had a very significant impact. Everyone understood that the rumors and statements and divisions that are said are nonsense and void. Everyone stood by the banner of Islam. Political groups and high-ranking officials of the country entered and spoke. The various political factions of the country; those whom they want to label; one is called left, one is called right; one is labeled extremist, one is labeled reformist; these fabricated and false labels that are only meant to sow discord among the ranks of the people did not affect the vigilance of the people, the vigilance of the officials, and the vigilance of the political currents. Everyone understood that this is the interest of the country. Therefore, they entered the arena; of course, with differences, some less, some more. There were also some inattentions that we hope will serve as a lesson for those who did not pay attention and, God willing, will pay more attention to these matters.
The people entered into a massive movement and participated. News media, especially radio and television, truly and fairly performed their duties well, for which they should be thanked. Some newspapers - mostly the majority of newspapers - acted well. Administrative officials, the Ministry of Interior, and the esteemed Guardian Council performed their duties excellently; especially the esteemed Guardian Council, with patience in the face of the statements made, the rumors spread, with patience and steadfastness, carried out their work and acted according to what the law entrusted to them. The staff of the Ministry of Interior worked day and night and brought the ballot boxes to the farthest points and made them available to the people and counted the votes in the shortest possible time and informed the people of the results. All of this deserves gratitude and appreciation, and its reward is with God.
Many people who certainly wished to vote did not have the opportunity to do so. They were either far away, or traveling, or had immediate problems at hand. In some places, the villages are far away, so not everyone has the opportunity to vote. They too, according to their intention, according to their determination, are certainly rewarded. If there were some who had been misled and did not come to vote - they could have, but did not vote - as long as they are not guilty in this matter - that is, they misunderstood - they too, God willing, will be rewarded for their intention. Of course, there were some who stubbornly and maliciously wanted to prevent the people's votes. These are not our own. In the time of the Imam (may his soul be sanctified), the same currents from the very beginning of the revolution, from the very first elections that were held, always had a negative stance, a opposing stance, a complaining stance, and a rumor-spreading stance; they still do. We did not expect anything other than what they did from them, and we do not expect it. We hope that, God willing, this successful experience will lead to more progress and hope for our nation, and that the Assembly of Experts can fulfill its legal duties.
The work of the Assembly of Experts is very important. One day, someone will be needed to take the leadership and leadership of this country; this Assembly must be present. Then, it must also ensure that the conditions in the person who has been recognized for knowledge, action, management, and the existence of conditions are maintained. The Experts are responsible for both the initial and the ongoing oversight; they must be vigilant and understand. These are very important duties. Of course, their work is not daily. They do not have meetings more than once or twice a year; but they have committees, they have boards, they gather, think, discuss, and work. The greatness of this work is a greatness that intelligent people understand, and the Iranian nation was intelligent enough to understand this. O Lord! Accept from all those who have labored in this path by Your grace and generosity.
The next issue is the disgraceful agreement that has recently taken place between the Zionists and those who claim to represent the Palestinians. I do not wish to delve into the details of this matter; this should be clarified for our people by the media and the officials of the country and the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and others who are responsible for explaining such matters, so that the people are informed about this very ugly and dangerous issue. The agreements that were made nearly two years ago have not yet been implemented, and they have come to sign another agreement that is one hundred percent against the oppressed Palestinian people and against the Palestinian country and against the Arab world and against the Islamic world.
The Americans are seriously pursuing this matter! The reason is that they, due to the personal problems that the President of America is facing and also due to the embarrassment of American diplomacy in the Middle East issue, needed this matter. The Americans have repeatedly stated that the peace agreements between the so-called Palestinian Liberation Organization and Israel are mere pieces of paper and have no external reality. Due to the weakness of diplomacy and the inability of America to pursue this matter, America's reputation in the world has been tarnished. There are many other internal and external issues. They sat down with a concentrated effort in a few short weeks and brought an agreement to the signature of someone who claims to represent the Palestinian people, a despicable person, a traitor, a person deeply immersed in the swamp of selfishness and materialism, who is not even worthy of being considered a member of the Palestinian resistance; let alone being its leader! He has taken on the responsibility of pursuing and following the Palestinian struggle; that is, he has taken the burden of the great plight of the Zionist government off the shoulders of the Muslim Palestinian revolutionaries and placed it on his own shoulders! This burden that he should have carried, he has carried, and made the enemy's work easier! He has created problems and troubles for the Palestinian revolutionaries and increased the ugly interference and intrusive presence of America!
In addition, there are meetings that the Zionists and the "Arafat" gang must hold regularly every two weeks to follow up on these matters! He is obliged to have a meeting with the Americans and report to them that I have done these things, I have captured these people, I have imprisoned these individuals, I have punished these people! If he releases a prisoner, the Americans will object to him, asking why he released this prisoner who was one of the revolutionaries?! Why did you act leniently?! Why did you not capture so-and-so?! In this case, Israel is the reporter and provides the list; America is the judge and issues the ruling, and Mr. "Yasser Arafat" is the executor of that judge's ruling! Shame on these despicable people.
Of course, the apparent issue for now is that this group of mercenaries must suppress the Palestinians; but this is the apparent issue. The essence of the matter is that they must deprive the Palestinians of even the amount of land they have for the long term. The apparent issue is that the Palestinian fighters are being suppressed; but the essence of the matter is that the Zionist government is not even satisfied with this amount of Palestinian presence! They must make the situation so difficult, so challenging, that for a free Palestinian who wants to live comfortably, there is no possibility of living except by serving the interests of Israel! They opened the door for America, opened the door for the CIA - more than it was - increased their possibility of interference, and made the work more difficult for the fighters. Of course, all of this is in their imagination and delusion. They want to provide security for the dirty Zionists, but they will not be able to; they can be assured that they will not be able to. The Zionists, first with the help of the British, then with the help of America and many countries of the world, and through various treacherous and terrorist acts and creating fear and intimidation, managed to establish this Zionist government within its occupied territories. Even if they pass forty or fifty years, there remains one unresolved issue, and that is that the usurping Zionist cannot sleep comfortably in this usurped house; they have no security. Yes; this is the reality. They have money, they have modern and ultra-modern technology, they have the political support of the arrogant powers, they have weapons, they have torture devices, they pursue the Palestinians everywhere, even the teenagers in their schools - all of this is preserved; but God Almighty has taken comfort and ease away from that group of comfort-seekers and cowards; because Palestine is alive, because the Palestinian nation is alive, because the Palestinian youth are alive. They wanted to erase the map of Palestine from the world map. They wanted to make the name of Palestine forgotten. They wanted to dissolve and annihilate the Palestinian nation within other nations so that nothing remains called Palestine. What has happened is exactly the opposite of this.
The Palestinian nation has become much stronger, more determined, and more aware since 1948, and has a larger population and more prominent personalities among them. If back then they were so weak in their own homes that the enemy could come, take their hands, and insult them out of their homes, today the Palestinian nation is such that it has deprived the millions of equipped Zionists of comfort and security in their own palaces, in their own Jewish settlements, and in their own farms. They have everything; but they have no possibility of living, no peace, and no security. This agreement is to see if they can create security for themselves through the hands of treacherous Palestinians. Because they have experienced that they could not do it themselves, they want to see if they can achieve security through Arafat! But I say that the Palestinian nation is the enemy of the Zionists; they are also fiercely enemies of the Zionist agents - even if it is Yasser Arafat. We hope that, God willing, the dignity of the Islamic world, the dignity of the Palestinian nation, and the dignity of the fighters in the path of God and religion will increase day by day.
I needed to mention the birth of Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him), which we read in the supplication of the days of Rajab: "O God, I ask You by the two born in Rajab, Muhammad ibn Ali al-Thani and his son Ali ibn Muhammad al-Muntajab." Both the birth of Imam al-Jawad and the birth of Imam al-Hadi have occurred in this month, and we should celebrate these two days. I express my devotion, sincerity, and unblemished faith to the threshold of these two noble Imams on behalf of myself and from your hearts, and I hope that God Almighty keeps us alive in this world and the hereafter with their teachings and their personalities and gathers us with them.
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the victory of God and the conquest comes, and you see the people entering into the religion of God in multitudes, then glorify the praises of your Lord and ask for His forgiveness. Indeed, He is the Accepting of Repentance.
And peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings.
