Statements in an Interview with IRIB about International Quds Day
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. I have seen on television in these past nights that people express their views about Quds Day in response to questions posed to them, which reflect their awareness, insight, presence, and sense of responsibility. Perhaps it is not necessary for me to say anything to our dear people on this matter. However, because the issue of Quds is important and because today, unfortunately, the Zionists are being supported in exerting increased pressure on the Palestinians, and considering that many who once championed the Palestinian cause have abandoned this oppressed nation along the way, and today, the Palestinian fighters and the oppressed Palestinian nation need global support and encouragement from their Muslim brothers, I recommend to our dear people and to all Muslim nations that, God willing, they observe this day with more fervor and enthusiasm than in the past. This will aid in the struggle and the rectification of Palestinian affairs. The rectification of Palestinian affairs is such that, God willing, the Palestinian people—who are the rightful owners of their land—will reclaim their rights.
We hope that all members of our dear nation will be successful and that they will take this step, like all the great and good steps they have taken, successfully. ... God willing, be successful.
