Television Message to Thank the Great Nation of Iran for Their Million-Strong Presence in the 22nd of Bahman Rally

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

There is no power and no strength except through God, the Most High, the Most Great.

Dear nation of Iran! Yesterday, on the twenty-second of Bahman this year, you accomplished a great task; you elevated Iran's dignity; you supported the Islamic Republic as always and added to its strength. The enemies who, in their statements and plans, seek to subdue the nation of Iran have been disappointed. You accomplished this great task yesterday with divine grace, and the Almighty God will reward such presence and such a great movement to the nation; and that will be greater dignity, greater power, and more complete independence; God willing.

Let us strive to maintain national unity and cohesion; let us all make an effort. This national cohesion is very valuable, very precious. For a nation to come out into the streets, to repeat a single message, a single slogan, a single aspiration, and to practically show that they are present in the scene and can assert their identity and character before their enemies is very valuable.

I thank all the people of Iran and extend my warm greetings to each and every one of those who were present in this great million-strong gathering yesterday.
