Television Message to the Iranian Nation

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

I extend my greetings to the dear and great nation of our country. I offer my condolences and congratulations to the Iranian nation and the families of the martyrs, including the esteemed commanders and scholars — which is undoubtedly heavy for all. We hope, God willing, that the Almighty God elevates their ranks and grants their pure souls His special grace.

Now, the matter I wish to share with our dear nation is that the Zionist regime has made a grave mistake, a significant error, a wrong move, and its consequences will leave it in despair, by God's grace. The Iranian nation will not overlook the blood of its precious martyrs, nor will it disregard the violation of its skies. Our armed forces are prepared, and the officials of the country and all segments of the people stand behind the armed forces.

Today, similar messages have been issued from all various political factions and different segments of the country. Everyone feels that we must act powerfully against the wicked identity of the terrorist Zionist; we must act powerfully, and God willing, we will act powerfully and will not show leniency towards them. Life will become bitter for them, without a doubt. They should not think that they struck and it was over; no, they started this work and initiated the war. We will not allow them to escape unscathed from this great crime they have committed; undoubtedly, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic will deal heavy blows to this wicked enemy. The nation also supports us, supports the armed forces, and the Islamic Republic, by God's permission, will prevail over the Zionist regime.

Dear nation, know this and be assured that there will be no negligence in this regard.
