In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Thanks be to God, the Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his pure family, and may God's curse be upon all their enemies.

Once again, I congratulate the dear nation of Iran and ask the Almighty God for a blessed and prosperous year for all of them. We have entered the year 1400; from a conventional perspective, this year is considered the beginning of a new century; even if it may not be so in terms of precise calculations, conventionally it is said that we have entered a new century. If we want to make a small and meaningful comparison with the time of the country's entry into the previous century - that is, 1300 - 1300 marked the beginning of the dependent dictatorship of Reza Khan, which was essentially an English coup carried out by Reza Khan, and in reality, it was a dependent and dictatorial English rule in the country; this entry was in 1300. This year, entering 1400, is an election year, meaning governance based on independence, on the people's votes, on self-reliance and national confidence; this year's entry into this century has a significant difference from the entry in 1300 and the entry into the fourteenth century. We hope, God willing, that the Almighty God guides all our affairs in this direction towards progress.

I have prepared a few points to present: one is regarding the slogan that has been raised this year, which is essentially a slogan for production, but with an emphasis on the support that must be provided, the support that must be given, and the obstacles that must be removed; then I will also address the issue of elections and present a few points regarding the elections; I will also briefly discuss foreign policy and current issues, including the JCPOA, with our dear nation.

As we mentioned in the New Year message, what was aimed for in the year 99 and was named the leap in production was not fully realized; however, it must be acknowledged that significant progress was made in important sectors of production. In some cases, it can even be referred to as a leap; in some cases, even if it is not a leap in production, there is certainly progress in production. I have been provided with a relatively long list of goods for which we have seen an increase in production - of course, I will not read the entire list - mainly household appliances saw significant growth; car tires, aluminum, petrochemicals, steel, and similar items are goods that truly progressed and grew in the year 99; this must continue. This production movement in the country must continue, and the obstacles to production must be removed.

Now, regarding the obstacles to production, I will mention two or three examples - perhaps I mentioned them previously in a message - I will mention them again; for example, consider excessive and unnecessary imports, or smuggling of goods, or unnecessary and cumbersome regulations, or the failure of banks and the banking system to assist production; these are some of the issues; however, the obstacles to production are not limited to these; I have been given a report that details the obstacles to production, and I believe it would be good for such a report to be presented to the people by those who are knowledgeable about these issues through the media so that they know that removing some of these obstacles to production is the responsibility of the people themselves, and some are the responsibility of government agencies or entirely governmental bodies; whether the executive branch or other branches. In any case, there are many obstacles to production that must be removed.

And one is the supports; such as legal incentives or assisting imports that production depends on; for example, some of our production requires raw materials that must come from abroad, or some machinery and similar items that must be assisted and facilitated. A major help for production is that the purchasing power of the people increases; otherwise, if production occurs and there is no public demand, production will fail; that is, the purchasing power of the people, which is the issue of the value of the national currency, is a very important point that experts must discuss in its own place. Or, for example, helping to cut off intermediaries; intermediaries raise prices, harming both producers and consumers; both suffer; if the hands of unnecessary intermediaries are cut off, it will greatly assist production, and similar issues that certainly, if this work is pursued seriously this year, which is 1400, it will undoubtedly bring about a transformation in the economy.

And of course, there are other conditions that must be observed; such as fighting corruption. Fighting corruption is a very important issue that must be addressed by closing the channels and pathways of corruption, which essentially means reforming the banking system and reforming customs and similar issues, which must completely close the path to corruption.

What I find necessary to convey to our dear nation is that due to the disarray in the economic situation and the people's livelihood, some people find opportunities for negativity and despair, saying, "Sir! There is no benefit, nothing can be done"; some are like this; whether in cyberspace, in some of our media, and unfortunately mainly in foreign propaganda; because there are actual problems facing the people, they use this as a means to show that the path is completely blocked and say nothing can be done; no, I must say that this is not the case at all; our economy, with the capacities and capabilities it has internally, can be one of the most flourishing economies in the region, and even one of the most flourishing economies in the world. We have many capacities, we have abundant resources; utilizing these resources does not require miracles; these are issues that responsible officials and managers can solve with diligence, a sense of responsibility, and high determination. The condition is that there must be strong management, anti-corruption management must prevail in the country, and there must be a comprehensive economic program; if there is, we can utilize these existing capacities.

Right now, World Bank experts - this is not just our claim; it is the claim of renowned and truly top economists in the world who are World Bank experts - say that Iran's economy ranks eighteenth among the world's top economies; that is, among the two hundred and some countries in the world, we are the eighteenth economy, [even] in the current situation with sanctions and numerous problems. They say that if the unused capacities - to which I will refer some of these capacities - are utilized, Iran's economy will rise six ranks and reach twelfth place. This is very significant. With a population of over eighty million, despite all the problems that others impose on us - sanctions and similar issues - the country, thanks be to God, is alive, standing, and is the eighteenth best economy in the world. This is not a small matter; this must be taken into account.

However, the capacities mentioned in this World Bank report and what they say are of two types: one is territorial capacities, and the other is human capacities. Territorial capacities include, for example, the country's size, the country's access to free waters - we are neighbors of the Sea of Oman and the Indian Ocean and have access to free waters - the number of neighbors - we have fourteen to fifteen neighboring countries with a population of over six hundred million; this is a very important opportunity and capacity - the transit and transportation routes of the East and West and North and South, which is the position of our country; [it has] this capacity. Of course, yes, the enemies are active to prevent the utilization of these capacities, but with good activities and increased efforts, these capacities can be utilized. These are territorial capacities.

Human capacities refer to the population of working age. See; thanks to the population increase that occurred in the 60s, when some people were shouting about why we are increasing the population without control, today those same people are the youth who have entered the labor market; that is, the country is young, there is a large workforce that can enter the labor market; [we must] be able to activate the workforce that is of working age and educated; with this amazing range of our university education, with all these students and graduates we have had, which has led to the majority of our young generation being educated and capable of work. This was what was in the World Bank report, but besides these, there are other important capacities that I will refer to some of them.

One of them is the capacity of the domestic market; that is, an eighty-million market is available to the Iranian producer, meaning every producer is also a consumer; collectively, an eighty-million market of a large country is available to the Iranian producer, and this is an important opportunity. Another important capacity is natural resources, which today we are utilizing some of these natural resources - not all - but in a raw form - many of these are consumed in raw form - like oil, like gas, which are consumed in raw form, while they can be utilized for better uses and create added value through them; or agricultural lands or pastures or forests, which are enormous wealth in the hands of the Iranian nation. We rank high in the world regarding underground mines like oil and gas, like zinc, copper, iron ore, and similar items; from first and second place to ninth place. We have these vast natural resources. Well, this is a very important capacity. In addition to these, significant infrastructures have been created in these thirty years that were not present in the country: dams, power plants, rail transport routes, road transport routes, and many similar infrastructures that have been created. Well, a country with these characteristics, with all these capacities, if it has a correct economic planning and strong management overseeing it - that management - which I will refer to later in the issue of elections - must be strong and capable of solving issues, must be popular, must be anti-corruption, can become a developed economic country, and no sanctions will have any effect on it. Not that sanctions will be lifted; whether they are lifted or not; when there is a flourishing and progressive economy, others will feel the need, and sanctions will lose their meaning.

Another point regarding the country's economy is that resolving problems requires the cooperation of the people; the solidarity of the people. Any work that the people engage in will certainly lead to a breakthrough; it has always been this way; in all matters where the people could engage, breakthroughs have occurred. I want to say that in the matter of investment and investment for production, the people themselves can play a role; whether those who have capital and consume this capital in some unnecessary trades and speculations can invest it in production, or those who want to help others; like the charitable assistance that was provided for the issue of Corona, where all the people participated, in the matter of production [too], those who have the ability can create employment for one person, two people, or ten people and help them with their employment.

Of course, this [work] requires popular organization; many want to help but do not know how to help. Charitable organizations, revolutionary institutions, and the trustees of mosques that are active in this regard, like in some other places, must plan these so that everyone knows how with a small investment they can help the country's production; that is, not everyone should think that they must have billions of investments to be able to engage in production; no, sometimes with small investments, one can help the country's production. Sometimes, consider a rural family that can be revived, made self-sufficient with a few livestock; consider a city family that can be made self-sufficient with a weaving or sewing machine or similar items; many such works can be done that both help the people and combat poverty and also assist production.

On this occasion, I want to say a few words regarding sanctions - of course, I will return to explain a bit more later - I mention this here in relation to the economy, that firstly, the economic blockade and sanctions that America imposed on us and on some other countries are one of the great crimes of governments. Sanctions should not be viewed as a political or diplomatic act; this is truly a crime. To sanction a nation so that it cannot import medicine, cannot import medical equipment, cannot import food supplies - now, thanks be to God, we manage to pull ourselves out of the water, but some countries cannot do this - this is truly a great crime, and this crime comes from a government like America that can kill 220,000 people in one day; this crime has been committed by some powers, including America. Know that sanctions and economic blockade are certainly a great crime; this is the first point.

Nevertheless, sanctions for our country - which this crime was committed against our country - also had some benefits that could turn this threat into an opportunity; that is, our hardworking youth made efforts and in some sectors that were completely dependent on foreign goods, made the country self-sufficient, meaning they produced domestically; domestic productions. This is separate from the issue of the leap in production; this is creating technology within the country; this is essentially taking a new step within the country that you sometimes see reports on television saying we have done this work. They produce a product that makes the country self-sufficient from abroad, and their product is both superior and cheaper than the foreign one, and it is made by our own children, which one can consume with full willingness, and they have cut off dependency in some sectors; this has become a lesson for us. That now in some television programs, you see a young person coming and saying I or we did this work or this action, has truly become a lesson for us.

In confronting sanctions, we can take two paths: one is to go to the sanctioner and plead with them, saying, "Sir, you have sanctioned us, we plead with you to reduce or lift this sanction," and they may say, "Alright, I have no objection, do these things," putting several arrogant demands on the table, saying, "Do these things, and I will reduce some of the sanctions;" this is a path of humiliation, a path of decline, a path of backwardness. The other path is to activate our internal forces; we have good capabilities; we must activate these forces and produce the sanctioned goods domestically. When the other side sees that these goods are being produced domestically, they will scramble; because they profit from this trade of goods and from the markets of countries - a major profit for governments is this - hence, this will lead to sanctions being lifted, revoked, or rendered ineffective.

Therefore, our nation has chosen this second path; that is truly the case. I see that our dear nation has chosen this second path and has achieved great successes, the latest of which is related to the issue of Corona. When Corona first came, if you remember, we did not even have masks. The means for people to wear masks were not sufficiently available in the country; or disinfectants were not available. They worked hard domestically, and we became self-sufficient in masks. Others were stealing masks - this was related to the previous Esfand, 98, and Farvardin 99 - a European country had bought masks from China, another European country came and intercepted it and stole it! The issue of masks was like this in the world. We produced them ourselves; our youth, our people, produced masks or disinfectants at home and in mosques; this was truly a complete manifestation of cutting dependency on abroad. And we continued this way until we reached vaccines, which today, thank God, are being produced and tested through various means. This has become a source of pride for the country; some foreign analysts who are fair praise our country. This path has been tested by the Iranian nation, and God willing, they will continue to follow this path.

Thousands of youth in knowledge-based and non-knowledge-based companies, active production companies are producing sanctioned goods that are both of better quality and, as we said, cheaper. In other fields as well; that is, truly, we cannot say enough about the talents of our youth. In emerging sciences, for example, in nanotechnology, we are now among the top countries in the world in nanotechnology and production of nanotechnology, and in terms of scientific articles, reference articles, global scientific centers say that in the past twenty years - since nanotechnology is an emerging science - for example, in 2001, Iran had ten articles on nanotechnology, in 2020, twelve thousand articles; that is, in twenty years, we have gone from ten scientific articles on nanotechnology to twelve thousand scientific articles; such works are being done in the country, thank God; these are important. In defense sectors, you see; in defense sectors, day by day, thank God, the country's progress is becoming more prominent and brilliant and, in some respects, astonishing; these defensive productions increase the external security of the country; this is very important for the country; that is, "حصون الرّعیّة"; these are essentially fortresses for the security of the country. Therefore, the threat of sanctions, which is a real threat and a true crime, can be turned into an opportunity; in this way, by relying on our internal capacities and internal forces.

The last point regarding economic issues is that our strong recommendation to our dear officials - whether those currently in office or those who will come later - is that they should not tie the country's economic issues to the lifting of sanctions. Now, in this election propaganda, economic discussions will also be raised; they should not leave the economy of the country idle and in limbo waiting for the decisions of others, saying that [if] sanctions are lifted, we will do this, we will do that. Suppose sanctions remain; plan the economy of the country based on the permanence of sanctions; and it can be planned; one should not be waiting. One of the problems of our economy in the past three or four years has been that we have constantly said that if sanctions are lifted, for example, it will be like this, if sanctions are lifted, it will be like that, if foreign investment occurs, it will be like this; these "ifs" keep the economy idle and confused, and uncertainty should not arise in the economy, which is a great harm. This is regarding the economic issues and this year's slogan, which, God willing, everyone must strive to realize the issue of removing obstacles [to production] and supports.

However, regarding the presidential and council elections that we have in Khordad, which will take place in about three months, this is very, very important, and I must present a few points.

The first point is the importance of elections; elections in the country are very important, both from an internal perspective and from an external image perspective.

From an internal perspective, elections essentially represent a renewal in the country; when elections are held, it means that new individuals enter the field, enter the work, and a renewal occurs in the executive apparatus of the country, which is very important; it is as if a fresh breath is given to the executive apparatus. Well, the work of the executive apparatus is very heavy, which I will refer to later, and God willing, we will discuss it. Therefore, a new, motivated group enters the work, and this is very auspicious and good for the country.

From the perspective of external image, elections and the participation of the people demonstrate national power. We must all know and acknowledge that yes, defensive capabilities and diplomatic powers and similar things give power to the country; there is no doubt about this, but more than all of these, it is the people of a country, the nation that gives power. When everyone feels in the world - both enemies and friends - that this nation is vigilant, awake, standing, determined, and motivated, this country gains a power and a stature in the eyes of all; both friends and enemies. Therefore, the presence of the people will enhance the country's power. And elections are a manifestation of the people's presence; revolutionary gatherings are a manifestation of the people's presence, and most importantly, of course, elections are.

Well, I have repeatedly spoken about "a strong Iran"; that is, we must strive to strengthen the country. Well, a country and a nation that sees the enmities of enemies and the greed of arrogant powers, its remedy and solution is to strengthen itself. This strength of the country and "a strong Iran" is a public slogan; everyone accepts this; even those who do not accept me accept the slogan "a strong Iran." Certainly, a strong Iran is better than a weak and powerless Iran that is bullied; a strong Iran is a dignified and honorable Iran. Well, now who gives this strength to Iran? As we mentioned, it is the nation; it is the people who give this strength to the country, and the presence of the people and their participation - their participation in principle, the extent of their participation - certainly affects this national strength.

And I must also say - this is our information - that the dear nation should know that the intelligence and espionage agencies of certain countries, and worst of all, the United States and the Zionist regime, have been trying for some time now, not just today, to make the elections at the end of Khordad lackluster; or they accuse the organizers [saying] "the elections are engineered" - in fact, they are accusing the organizers of the elections or the esteemed Guardian Council - or they are disheartening the people [saying] "your vote has no effect, it will not improve the situation; why tire yourselves for nothing!" They are doing these things with great intensity.

And they are making maximum use of cyberspace. Well, unfortunately, in our country's cyberspace, the necessary precautions are not taken despite all the emphasis I have made, and in some respects, it is truly lax, which those responsible must pay attention to. All countries in the world manage their cyberspace; while we pride ourselves on having left cyberspace unregulated! This is not a point of pride; this is by no means a point of pride. Cyberspace must be managed. The people must use this opportunity; it is undoubtedly a means of freedom, it is very good, but this means should not be given to the enemy to conspire against the country and the nation. They are using this space, and their goal is to reduce people's participation in the elections through psychological methods. I hope that, God willing, the people will respond negatively to these and do something to disappoint the enemy, and this important matter will not be overlooked. This is the first point regarding the importance of elections.

The second point is the importance of the presidency. The presidency is a very important matter; that is, the most important and effective management in the country is the presidency. That some say the president has no powers, the president is a logistics officer, the president has twelve or fifteen percent of powers - how they calculate this, I do not know! For several years, these statements have been made here and there - all of these are contrary to reality; either they are said out of irresponsibility or ignorance, or God forbid, there is malice involved. This is not the case; the president is one of the busiest and most responsible positions in the country; it cannot be said "one of the"; the president is busier and more responsible than all other management positions in the country; almost all management centers in the country are under the president's authority; that is, suppose the judiciary or military institutions have managements; these are in comparison to the managements in the executive branch are slightly above zero or a few percent. Most of the managements in the country, which are thousands of managements, are under the authority of the executive branch. All the approved budget of the country is under the president's authority, as the head of the Planning and Budget Organization is the vice president and is directly under the presidency. Therefore, other managements are essentially insignificant compared to the executive branch. The presidency is such an important position. Now you want to elect a president; consider what responsibility lies on me and you to go and vote. Of course, my vote weighs the same as the vote of a sixteen or seventeen-year-old; there is no difference. We want to go and vote to elect a president; we must pay attention to what responsibility lies on the president. This is one point.

In the third point, I want to address the candidates. To those who are candidates for the presidency - it has already started; now for some time, individuals are announcing that they want to participate - I want to tell them that we expect you to understand the weight of the work; you who have become candidates, know what burden you want to take on your shoulders, what heavy burden you want to carry; know this. If you see you can do it, very well, enter the electoral arena; but do not enter without knowing the weight of the work. First, recognize the main problems and issues of the country. The issues of the country are not just one or two; there are hundreds of issues, and at least dozens of them are among the essential and important issues of the country; know these, know where the country's problems are and what the issues are, and have a program and solution for solving those issues, even if it is brief; now we are not saying detailed; even in a brief manner, have a solution for it. Recognize the issue of the economy; the economy is important. In the economic issue itself, there are important works; national production growth, national investment growth, strengthening the national currency, the issue of inflation, and similar matters fall under the title of economy. Then, the issue of the country's security, which is a very important issue. The subject of social harms, which is one of the important issues of the country, is the issue of social harms. Facing the complex policies of the world; you want to confront these policies; the issue of foreign policy. [Also] the very important issue of culture. You must know what is happening in the country and what expectations exist and what must be done; know these. If you see you can carry this heavy and important burden, then Bismillah, enter; if you see you cannot, do not enter, as it is narrated that a very bad promise has been given to someone who cannot do a job and enters it, which I will not mention now. Therefore, this is another point related to the candidates.

Another point for all people is that the characteristics of a president who seems to be the desired president should have these characteristics, I say, you look and see if this is really the case or not; that is, this is not my personal opinion; it seems that anyone who seeks the prosperity of the country wants such a president. First, they should be competent, have management skills and competence. Secondly, they should be faithful; if they are unfaithful, they cannot be trusted; an unfaithful person will sell the country, the interests of the country, and the people at some point; so they must be faithful. Then, they should be justice-seeking, anti-corruption; this is one of the most important characteristics that must exist in the president, meaning they must genuinely seek to implement justice and genuinely want to fight corruption. They should have revolutionary and jihadist performance; that is, a polished performance will not work; with all these essential issues in the country, a jihadist and revolutionary movement is necessary; their performance must be like this.

They must believe in internal capabilities. Some do not accept the internal situation at all; they say the old saying that only a faucet can be made inside; they do not know what is happening inside. Once, one of the gentlemen said something about the defense issue, I said, "Put a defensive net so that the gentlemen can come and see what is happening in the country in terms of defense." They must truly believe in the country's capabilities and be confident in them. And they must believe in the youth, recognize the youth as the driving force of the country's public movement, and trust them. I have been connected with the youth for a long time and have trusted them in various matters; truly, wherever the youth enter - I do not want to name titles and similar things now - this is how they open hard knots and solve problems. This president must believe in the youth. They must be popular. They must be hopeful; they should not be a hopeless and pessimistic person with a dark view of the future.

If such a person comes who can manage the problems and comes to power, surely this country will reach its desired point. Find a president with these characteristics. Of course, finding such a person is not easy for all people; well, they can refer to those and ask them. In any case, they should try to find such characteristics in the presidential candidate. And let us ask God to help and guide the Iranian nation so that they can find and elect such a person with these characteristics.

Regarding the elections, the last point is that our dear nation should consider the elections as a symbol of national unity, not a symbol of division and not a symbol of polarization; they should set aside these wrong divisions of "left" and "right" and similar things. What is important is the future of the country, what is important is the future of our generation, what is important is the honorable Islamic system in the country; these are important, and they must consider these and truly be together. Of course, there are different tastes; there are differences in taste, there are differences in political views, there are ethnic differences, there are differences in religions; these are not problematic; they have existed before, they exist now, and they will exist later; these are not problematic [but] they should not disrupt national unity, meaning they should not put the people against each other, nor should they create polarization in the country. Well, this is also regarding the elections.

The last point is related to the JCPOA and regional issues; I will also say a few sentences in this regard. The first point is that America's maximum pressure has failed. That previous fool, designed and implemented this maximum pressure policy to put Iran in a position of weakness so that later, due to weakness, Iran would be forced to come to the negotiating table, and he would impose his arrogant demands on weak Iran; that was his goal. Well, he has disappeared and gone, and his departure was not without disgrace; it was a disgraceful departure; both he was disgraced, and his country was disgraced, and America was disgraced. And thank God, the Islamic Republic stands with power and dignity, and with God's grace, this country and this dear nation will remain. Therefore, know that its maximum pressure has failed until now, and if this new American government wants to pursue maximum pressure, they too will fail, they too will disappear, and Islamic Iran will remain with more power and dignity. These recommendations we have made will ensure that, God willing, Iran becomes stronger day by day.

The second point is that the country's policy regarding interaction with the JCPOA parties and regarding the JCPOA itself has been explicitly announced; there should be no deviation from this policy; this is a policy that has been announced and has been agreed upon; it is not that this policy is an exception among other policies; no, this is a policy that has been agreed upon by all. That policy is that the Americans must lift all sanctions, then we will verify; if it has truly been lifted, then we will return to our JCPOA commitments, meaning we will return to our commitments without any problems; this is a definitive policy. We do not consider the Americans' promises credible; that they say we will lift it and take it off on paper, this is of no use; action is necessary; they must lift the sanctions in practice, we will verify and ensure that the sanctions have been lifted, then we will act on our commitments.

Now, some Americans have objections to the same JCPOA agreement. I have heard that some Americans say that today the conditions of 94 and 95, when the JCPOA was signed, have changed, so the JCPOA must change; I agree, yes, today the conditions have changed compared to 94 and 95, but not in favor of America, it has changed in our favor; the conditions have changed in favor of Iran, not in favor of you! Iran has become much stronger from 94 to today, it has been able to rely on itself and gain self-confidence; you have become disgraced from 94 to now! A government has come to power in America that has disgraced your country with its words, actions, and behavior, and then with its withdrawal. Economic problems have engulfed your entire country; it is not that [the situation is] in your favor. Yes, the conditions have changed, [but] to your detriment; if the JCPOA is to change, it must change in favor of Iran, not in favor of them. Thank God, we have rendered the sanctions ineffective; with numerous knowledge-based companies, the tremendous movement of the youth, various innovations in this regard; God willing, we will continue this path, but you have become more and more entangled day by day; until today, you are still entangled; it is unclear what the fate of this president will be.

Well, let us also say this; we are not in a hurry regarding the solution we have proposed. Now some say, "Sir, there is an opportunity, we should not waste it"; yes, we also believe that opportunities should be used in a timely manner and that we should not waste opportunities, but we should not be in a hurry; haste in some cases is more dangerous and harmful than wasting opportunities; as we hastily acted in the JCPOA; we should not have hurried; all their actions were on paper, our actions were on the ground; we hurried to carry out our actions, they did not carry out their actions, they did not fulfill their commitments. Of course, this is a very important issue that we must keep in mind that our patience and perseverance are great, and we are doing our work; if they accept and implement the policy we mentioned, everything will be fine; [if] they do not, it will remain as it is today, and it will continue to be; there is no problem.

[Regarding] this, when we say, for example, that they should lift the sanctions first, I have heard some politicians and others say, "Sir, what difference does it make who goes first? Now you say first America, America says first you"; the issue is not about who goes first; the issue is that we trusted the Americans during Obama and carried out the actions we were supposed to take based on the JCPOA, but they did not fulfill their commitments; that is, they said on paper that the sanctions were lifted, but their agents told every company that wanted to contract with us, "Sir, this is risky, this has risks, and it is unclear what will happen"; that is, they scared the investor; this is how they acted. We do not trust their actions; their commitments have no value for us.

Of course, the Americans made mistakes in dealing with us; in all regional matters, unfortunately, the Americans are mistaken; they are still making mistakes; this unjust support for the Zionist regime is a mistake; their intrusive presence in Syria, their extensive presence in the East of the Euphrates is certainly a mistake; their collaboration with the Saudi government in crushing the oppressed people of Yemen is certainly a mistake.

Their policies regarding Palestine are wrong and mistaken; the issue of Palestine will never be forgotten in the Islamic world; they are deluded into thinking that a few insignificant governments have established relations with the Zionist regime and normalized relations. These two or three insignificant governments have no impact. The Islamic Ummah will not forget the issue of Palestine; it will not abandon the issue of Palestine; the Americans should know this.

The same goes for Yemen. The aggression against Yemen began during the Democratic government before Trump; that is, Trump did not start the Yemen war; the Saudis started the Yemen war during the Obama Democratic government with America's green light; America allowed them and helped them; they provided them with extensive military capabilities; for what? To bomb the defenseless people of Yemen so that they would surrender in fifteen days or a month; well, they made a mistake; now six years have passed, and they have not been able to do so; it was around this time (11) that the Yemen war and attack on Yemen began; six years have passed since that day, and they have not been able to subdue the people of Yemen. I ask the Americans: did you know the day you gave the Saudis the green light to enter the Yemen war what their fate would be? Did you know what quagmire you were putting the Saudis into, that now they can neither stay nor return; now the problem for the Saudis is a twofold problem, that they can neither stop the war nor continue it; both sides are detrimental to them. Did you Americans know what you were getting the Saudis into? If you knew and still did it, woe to your allies whom you treat this way! If you did not know, then woe to your allies who trust you and execute their plans in agreement with you while you are unfamiliar with the regional situation. Therefore, know that you do not know this region, you do not know the nations, and you are making mistakes.

We hope that the Almighty God guides all the misled people of the world from their misguidance and brings them back from their mistakes; and we hope that, God willing, the Almighty God makes the Iranian nation more and more dear, powerful, and endowed with the means of life, and makes them happy and prosperous; may He, God willing, reform their material and spiritual conditions; may the sacred heart of the Awaited Savior, God willing, be pleased with the people of Iran, and may the prayers of that great figure, God willing, encompass all our people and this humble servant; may the pure soul of Imam Khomeini (may his soul be sanctified) be pleased with us, and may the pure souls of the martyrs be pleased with us.

Peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings.
