On the eve of the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Martyr General Qasem Soleimani,

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Thanks be to God, the Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his pure family, especially the Awaited One among the inhabitants of the earth.

God's mercy and pleasure be upon our dear martyr, whose martyrdom became a national event, indeed an Islamic international event. And now it is the second anniversary, and the people are commemorating him [in tribute], and I will return to this matter of the people. We are indeed following the people, and our gathering and our speech and such things are actually in pursuit of that innovative popular movement taking place across the country.

We have expressed a phrase, saying "the Soleimani School." Martyr Soleimani became a school or was a school, and regarding this school, I have seen, thanks be to God, that multiple books have been published that I had not seen before. If we want to define what we call "the Soleimani School" in one or two short sentences, we must say that this school consists of "truthfulness" and "sincerity." These two words are indeed the title and symbol of the Soleimani School. "Truthfulness" means that which is in the noble verse "Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with God"; I will briefly explain this. "Sincerity" is also that which is mentioned in several verses of the Quran, including this noble verse "Say: I have been commanded to worship God, making my religion sincere for Him"; these two Quranic titles constituted the movement of Martyr Soleimani.

This blessed movement, which made the life of this entirely blessed man a blessing, as well as his martyrdom - we say in the visitation of the Imams (peace be upon them): "And God took your soul by His choice and established the proof against your enemies"; the taking of your soul is in God's hands, but this taking of the soul established the proof against your enemies and the enemies of God; it is the same here; well, souls are in God's hands; everyone must leave this world, and everyone leaves in a different way; the martyr also left this world - and the quality of his martyrdom completed the proof against the enemy and all observers.

Now, what does "They have been true to their covenant with God" mean? It means to engage with purpose, with a divine covenant, with ideals sincerely. Our problem is this; in many cases, our problem is that the aspect of truthfulness in our movement and in our interaction with the ideals of Islam and the Revolution is faltering. This man acted sincerely in the truest sense of the word and continued to act sincerely in his life, to the extent that we saw and recognized this life up close; whether in the Sacred Defense, after the Sacred Defense until the responsibility of the Quds Force, and in the Quds Force. He bore the burden of striving for the ideals; this is the meaning of "sincerely."

Remaining loyal to Islam and the Revolution; he remained loyal to Islam and the Revolution with all his being; he remained loyal to the covenant he made with God and with the Imam; he remained loyal to the duty he had towards the Iranian nation and towards the Islamic Ummah, with utmost precision in action and with all his being; both the duty towards the Iranian nation and the duty towards the Islamic Ummah.

Some try to create a dichotomy between the nation and the Ummah; the root of this work is in the hands of the enemy, and they are doing this. Of course, some also make mistakes and unwittingly follow this line. Sometimes we see that someone who works for the Islamic Ummah does not necessarily look towards the Iranian nation; or vice versa. Our dear martyr, Martyr Soleimani, proved that one can be the most national figure of the country while also being the most Ummah-oriented figure of the country; simultaneously, he was both the most national and the most Ummah-oriented.

He was the most national; how do we know? From his funeral! What gathering have we had in these long years during the Revolution - which is a time of great gatherings - like the tens of millions who attended the funeral of Martyr Soleimani? Who were these people? The nation, this is it. The nation cannot be imagined in delusions; the nation is this existing reality. Tens of millions [of people] attended the funeral of this man after his martyrdom; thus, he is the most national. He is also the most Ummah-oriented because in these two years, his name and memory are gaining more influence in the Islamic world. The name of Martyr Soleimani and the memory of Martyr Soleimani are constantly being repeated in the Islamic world, and it is continually increasing; this is something one observes and sees. He was truly a manifestation of truthfulness: "They have been true to their covenant with God."

As we saw his work up close, he was truly a manifestation of effort; tireless work; tireless. Sometimes when he would go to a country, return, and send us a report, I would be astonished by the immense volume of work that had occurred in those few days. I have kept a copy of some of these reports for my own records; I have written on it that I keep this to show in the future, to demonstrate how much work this man was doing. I currently have a few copies - two or three reports of this kind. Tireless work.

Along with courage; meaning that the work is not ordinary and requires courage, it requires bravery; and it is based on rationality; both courage and rationality; both at a commendable level; with prudence. He knew the enemy well, and he also knew the enemy's tools; it was not the case that Martyr Soleimani did not know what the enemy's capabilities were that could be used to strike; he fully understood the enemy's capabilities, but at the same time, he entered the field with utmost courage and power. He had no fear of the enemy and chose the path of action with prudence.

I have mentioned this several times in the presence of some high-ranking officials of the country, who were also martyrs - both in his presence and in his absence - that he carried out the work with prudence. His courage is one thing, and now I see that the stories of his courageous actions are on everyone's lips; the works he carried out with prudence were precise! "Truthfulness" is this; "They have been true to their covenant with God" means these.

But his sincerity; truthfulness and sincerity. If there is no sincerity, the work becomes unblessed; that you see the work gaining blessings is due to sincerity. How can we understand his sincerity? From the fact that he was not at all seeking to be seen; he fled from being seen even a little. He fled from being seen, and now it has become such that the whole world sees him; the whole world sees him. He did the work for God, had no pretense, had no boasting; the first worldly reward that the Almighty God gave for this sincerity of his was this tens of millions of people attending his funeral. This funeral was the first reward for his sincerity in this world; now the reward of the Hereafter is reserved for him; the propagation of the name of Martyr Soleimani and his character, his memory and name in the world, was his worldly reward. In these two years, thousands upon thousands of times the name of Martyr Soleimani has been on the lips of individuals, on the pens of individuals. This year, people are spontaneously organizing commemorations - which I said I would return to - this is due to the sincerity of this dear one.

Martyr Soleimani became a model; one of the very prominent truths is that Martyr Soleimani has turned into a model. Today, many young people in the Islamic world - especially in this region, what I know pertains to this region - are thirsty for the presence of heroes like Martyr Soleimani; today they are thirsty. The more the memory of Soleimani spreads, the more their interest, their thirst for the presence of heroes like him in their countries increases. Today, Martyr Soleimani is a symbol of hope and self-confidence in our region, a symbol of bravery, a key to perseverance and victory. These works are done by God; these are not in anyone's hands; with no prudence can we do such works. These works are the work of God.

Someone had said that Martyr Soleimani is more dangerous to his enemies than General Soleimani; he understood it correctly; it is indeed so. Those who two years ago martyred Soleimani and dear Abu Mahdi and their other companions thought the work was finished; they thought they struck them and it was over, it was done. Today, look at their situation and see what condition they are in. Look at the situation of America! They are fleeing from Afghanistan in such a way and are forced to pretend to withdraw from Iraq - of course, the Iraqi brothers must follow the issue wisely - they are forced to say that from now on I will play an advisory role; meaning they admit that they do not want to have military presence there and cannot have it. Observe the issue of Yemen, look at the situation in Lebanon.

The anti-global arrogance movement in the region, the resistance movement in the region, is today more prosperous, more vibrant, and more hopeful than it was two years ago. In Syria, they have also become stuck; in Syria, they have no hope for their future; these are the blessings of this dear blood and the blood of the oppressed.

It was quoted from the martyr that in a speech he said that whoever lives like a martyr becomes a martyr; and he lived that way; he truly lived like a martyr; he lived martyrdom. Some of the moral qualities of the martyr are also noteworthy. I am currently reading a book about the moral condition and life of the martyr - "The Soleimani I Know"; I think it has such a title - which has some interesting things in it. It is written from the words of one of his old friends that they wanted to perform surgery on the grandson of one of his friends (the martyr), he went into the hospital and stood until the operation was completed. The mother of that child said that well, Haj Agha, the operation is over, you can go about your business; he said no, your father - meaning the grandfather of this child - went to martyrdom in my place, so I am standing here in his place; he stood until the child regained consciousness, and after he was assured, he left. His behavior with the family of the martyr is like this, his behavior with the wicked and the corrupt is also like that; outside the country one way, inside the country another way, in the south of Kerman and that region of Jiroft and the works he did in those years one way. The power he showed and the decisive and vigorous movement he made was such that when he entered a place and they understood he had come, his very presence would demoralize the enemy.

Today, the arrogant powers also fear his name, they fear his memory; see how they treat his name in cyberspace - you probably know more than I do; - with his name, what treatment they are giving; this is another admonition, a greater admonition for us and the officials of the country's cyberspace to understand what they should do, so that the enemy cannot act as they wish, with any place they want. And well, the existing cyberspace of the world is under the control of the arrogant powers; they fear his name and are afraid of his proliferation; this is what a model means; they fear that he will proliferate.

In any case, Martyr Soleimani is everlasting, he is alive forever; those who martyred him - Trump and his ilk - will find their place in the dustbin of history and will be among the forgotten of history in the dustbin, but he will remain alive forever; this is how martyrs are, and their enemies will be lost. Of course, God willing, after they pay their worldly retribution, they will be lost.

You all, both his respected family, his friends and comrades, and Mr. General Qaani, who, thanks be to God, is doing very well, moving forward, all of you, God willing, follow this line, move forward. And the Almighty God has promised us victory: "Indeed, God defends those who believe"; He has promised defense. Well, we are moving in the path of divine will and divine goals, and the nation is working for Islam; this defense, then also victory: "Indeed, God will help those who help Him"; "If you help God, He will help you and make your steps firm."

We hope, God willing, that all of you will be successful and supported. The works that this lady mentioned are good works; God willing, all of these will continue in the best manner.

Peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings.
