Statements at the Meeting with Students on the Eleventh Day of Ramadan
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I have nothing to say at this moment except to welcome all the dear youth, the dear students, my children who are present here, and to you who are conducting the program; I thank you. I greatly enjoyed your expression of "young officers" which you repeated, and I wholeheartedly believe in it. God willing, the statements of these dear youths today will manifest the identity and determination of these young officers before my humble self and other viewers.
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I thank the Almighty God for granting us the opportunity and life to once again experience this lively, sweet, and motivating session in the month of Ramadan. Every year we have such a session in Ramadan, and I must say that one of my most desirable and sweetest sessions is this one.
Firstly, I benefit from the remarks made by the brothers and sisters who are students. New and fresh points arise for me that I take advantage of. Moreover, sometimes there are suggestions that are reflected and conveyed to the relevant authorities; and know and be assured that as much as possible and within capacity, they are followed up; that is, it is not the case that one thinks that now a statement has been made and it has been thrown into the air and is over; no, truly each of these statements that are made - at least the parts that we approve and accept; which is mostly the case - are followed up.
Well, today’s session was very vibrant; the dear youths came and spoke on all topics. Firstly, among these brothers and sisters, there were differing opinions which I find very encouraging; this is good. Various opinions are raised on common subjects, and each opinion has its reasoning and supporters; this is a field for thinking, deepening, and reaching the truth. It is not that you should wait for me to make a decisive statement about the points of contention or the questions posed to me - that this disagreement exists in the university - that I must make a definitive statement that becomes the final word; no, in some cases, of course, a final word is necessary, where the leadership or a position whose word is final speaks there; but this is not one of those cases; these are cases that mostly do not need a final word. There is a disagreement; well, so what? What is wrong with that? One day I told the country’s officials who were here, in a specific case, that there is a disagreement; but disagreement is not a disaster. What is wrong with this disagreement? Sometimes the discussion is whether we should shoot at the enemy or not; here, yes, disagreement creates problems. But sometimes the issue is not like that; it is in theoretical matters, in broad social issues; these disagreements, in my opinion, are encouraging; for me, it is like that. You, who are young, should be more excited than anyone else in my old age by these different opinions and various arguments.
In today’s discussions, I paid attention, I studied; I found the discussions to be truly and fairly profound. In some years, some of the youths who come to speak sometimes leave me feeling dissatisfied because I do not find depth in their words. Today was not like that; today I found the words to be profound; now excluding the compliments and expressions of affection directed towards me - which have a different account - but what was presented as opinions, from beginning to end, I saw that they were profound words, thoughtful words; not that necessarily all of them are correct; no, there are correct ones, there are weak ones; but they are thought out, they are professional words that have been studied; this is important. Especially in those cases where the speaker spoke on behalf of a group - that is, spoke on behalf of organizations - this indicates that there is a capacity for cooperation and collaboration in thought in this background; which in turn is a positive thing that makes me happy. Sometimes you are a thoughtful person, you sit down and express something; well, it is a good thought, that is a good thing; but better than that is that you sat down with a group and thought; there were opposing opinions, the outcome of all those opinions became these; you presented them here. I observed signs of this meaning; especially in those statements that were made on behalf of an organization.
Well, today’s session was, in my opinion, a very good session; I thank God. I also thank those who came and spoke - both the girls and the boys - it was very good.
I have some points that I will present as time allows; but above all, it is that you are young, your hearts are pure, untainted. You may not yet grasp the depth of this statement, that this purity means what, where the affliction of tainted hearts lies; you, who are young, will not reach that for a long time; when you reach our age, then you will understand the affliction, you will see how much this clarity of heart in youth has value and worth, which is no longer returnable.
Today, this capital is in your hands. My message is this: connect and draw this pure and clear heart as much as you can to the source of greatness, to the source of truth, to the source of beauty - that is, the sacred essence of the Almighty God. If you succeed, you will have a prosperous life until the end of your life; if you do not succeed now, it will be much harder twenty years later; if you do not succeed twenty years later - when you are forty or forty-five years old - it will be much, much harder; that is, at ages younger than my current age. It will be very difficult. Not that it is impossible, but it is difficult. Now connect your heart to God. The way is open in the sacred law; it is not a complicated, mysterious task. You look at the peak of the mountain from below, you see that there are people up there; it is not that you think these people flew up there; no, they went up from the same path that is in front of you and reached there. Let us not fall into delusion, thinking that one can reach those peaks with some extraordinary and unusual movement; no, those you see at those peaks passed through these paths. What are these paths? First and foremost, abandoning sin. It is easy to say, but hard to act; but it is inevitable. Not lying, not betraying, avoiding various sexual and sensual slips, avoiding sins; the most important step is this. After abandoning sin, performing obligatory acts, and among all obligatory acts, prayer is the most important. "And know that all your actions depend on your prayer"; all human actions are dependent on prayer. Perform your prayers on time, with attention and presence of heart. Presence of heart means knowing that you are speaking to someone; know that you have an audience you are speaking to. If you practice this state in yourself, if you can create this concentration, it will remain with you for the rest of your life. If you cannot do it now - as I said - it will be hard twenty years later, even harder twenty years after that; after that, for someone who has not done it before, it will be very, very hard. Get used to creating this concentration in your prayer from now on. Then this is the prayer that: "forbids indecency and wrongdoing". "Forbids" means it advises you not to sin; it does not mean that it puts a barrier in front of you that you can no longer sin; no, it means it constantly tells you not to sin. Well, if several times a day from the depths of a person's heart it tells him not to sin, not to sin, a person does not sin. This is prayer.
The fast of the month of Ramadan is very valuable; it is a struggle against hunger, thirst, heat, and the hardships that a person faces. Being close to the Quran, being close to Nahj al-Balagha, being close to Sahifa Sajjadiyya, and supplication, night prayers, and every good deed you can do after that.
Value this luminous and pure heart that you have. Not that I want to speak to please you; no, the youth of the world are not just you; the characteristic of youth is this. Your heart is pure. Now, since it cannot be compared for you, you cannot feel this issue. Over time, afflictions, dust, mud, and rust cover the heart. It is narrated that when you commit a sin, a black spot appears in your heart - of course, these are symbolic expressions - when you commit the second sin, this black spot doubles. The more sins you commit, these spots keep adding until the entire heart is covered in darkness. The translation of its common meaning is what I said; that is, you currently have a ready heart and soul, but gradually sins, afflictions, and numerous problems that arise in the path of human life struggles - in politics, in economics, in getting a piece of bread, in obtaining life necessities - if a person has not practiced from now on, these will increase the afflictions, darken the heart. So, our first message and main point is this. You are like my children. If I want to give the best advice to my biological and non-biological children, I will say the same thing I have told you.
Also, pay attention; most of the slips that - I do not say all - occur in various fields and arenas for people arise from not observing this main and important point that I mentioned; even in the field of jihad. In the Battle of Uhud - well, you know the events - some people made a mistake that created a disaster. If you have not read the events of the Battle of Uhud, they are in history books; go read them, for I will not explain them here. The Quran says about these: "Indeed, those who turned their backs on you on the day the two armies met, it was Satan who caused them to slip because of some of what they had earned". The essence of the translation is: Those whom you saw turning their backs on the enemy on the day of the Battle of Uhud and creating a disaster and causing the martyrdom of Hamza, the master of martyrs, and many of the companions - it was Satan who caused them to slip because of some of what they had earned - their slips were facilitated by Satan due to what they had done before; that is, their sins. We have multiple verses in the Quran of this kind. Our failure to avoid sin shows its effects in managing the affairs of the country, if we have management in a sector, if we are present in the battlefield, if we are caught in a financial and economic test, in all these areas it shows. Therefore, this is our main message. In summary, I say; value your youth. This means value your pure hearts, connect yourself more with God. The way is to abandon sin and pay attention to prayer; and after the obligatory prayers and the attention I mentioned, do whatever you can, perform recommended acts, supplications, and the rest of the tasks. God willing, the Almighty God will also open the ways.
Well, I have noted some points here to present to you; however, the questions you raised and the topics you mentioned are important topics. It would not be bad for me to present some points about some of these.
One question was whether the student movement can ask questions where it sees a fault? The answer is yes, you should ask questions. There is no problem in asking questions; provided that, as this brother also said, do not judge; but ask questions. The best method of question and answer is for the officials to come into student groups. I request the officials here to increase their student meetings. Today, the best segments of the country are these; they are young, educated, knowledgeable, motivated; the officials should go and participate. These questions should be raised, and you will likely hear convincing answers. As I have encountered some of the officials, sometimes I have some of your questions or similar questions from them. Well, they give an answer, and sometimes a person is convinced; it is also possible that they do not have a convincing answer. In any case, raising questions is good. Be careful not to confuse raising questions with opposition. What I have said before, I have said many times, and I say now, is that the student movement or student movement or whatever it is called should not think that its duty is to oppose the responsible authorities of the country; no, that is wrong; what necessity is there? Opposing is not always the right thing; it may be right in one place, not right in another. What is important is that you present your opinion, present your reasoning, and seek a convincing answer; the officials must also respond.
Another question is that some say unity, some say sincerity; what do you say? I say both. The sincerity you mention - that we should take advantage of the opportunity and now that it has been filtered, a number of those who have impurities should be excluded from the circle - is not something that can be achieved through quarrels and conflicts and grabbing the collars of this and that and through hasty and pressured movements; sincerity in a group is not achieved this way; we are not tasked with this. In the early days of Islam, well, there were some with the Prophet; Salman was there, Abuzar was there, Ubayy ibn Ka'b was there, Ammar was there, who was there, who was there; these were the first and the purest; some others were a bit more moderate; there were some who sometimes the Prophet even scolded them. If you suppose the Prophet wanted to purify in that society of a few thousand people - which was much easier than a seventy million society like ours - what would he do? Those who committed a sin had to go; those who received a scolding had to go; those who at a time when they should not have taken leave from the Prophet took leave, had to go; those who delayed their almsgiving a little had to go; well, no one would remain. Today, it is the same. It is not that you come and exclude the weak of faith under the pretext that we want to purify; no, you should expand the circle of the pure; work to increase the number of pure individuals who can purify your society; this is good. Start with yourself; around yourself, your family, your friends, your organization, outside your organization. As much as you can, in the sphere of influence of your organization, strive to raise the level of individual and collective sincerity; the result of this will be the increasing sincerity of your society.
Unity, as we said - which later other questions were raised in this regard - my intention is unity based on principles. Therefore, unity with whom? With those who accept these principles. To the extent that they accept the principles, to that extent we are connected and related; this becomes the guardianship among the believers. The one who does not accept the principles shows that he does not accept the principles or explicitly states that he does not accept the principles, he is consequently outside this circle. Therefore, with this clarification and explanation, we are supporters of unity, and we are supporters of sincerity.
One question was raised during the discussion, which I have sometimes heard outside as well. They ask whether we should take a position like the leadership or not? Well, the leadership has a duty, we have another duty. You see, let no one think that the leadership has an opinion that is contrary to what is officially stated, and in secret conveys that opinion to some of the elites and the pure, to implement; absolutely such a thing does not exist. If someone thinks so, it is a mistaken assumption; if he attributes it, he has committed a great sin. The opinions and positions of the leadership are exactly what is publicly announced; it is exactly what I am stating.
A few years ago, when a murder occurred and the enemies made a fuss, they propagated and said they had a fatwa, they had orders, and they wanted to somehow involve the leadership, I said in Friday prayers: If I ever come to believe that someone is deserving of death, I will say it publicly in Friday prayers. It is neither permissible nor appropriate for there to be other positions than what the leadership publicly and explicitly announces; no, it is exactly what I am saying.
Of course, the way you fast may differ from mine, the way you pray may differ from mine. Well, you are young, you are students; your religious activity, your social activity is youthful; it naturally differs from the elderly behavior of old men. These natural differences cannot be overlooked.
The issue of preserving the system was raised. In our opinion - as we said - preserving the system is obligatory and more obligatory than all matters. The system also has specific boundaries, one of which is ethical and cultural boundaries, and there is no doubt that it must be preserved.
Several points were made regarding scientific authority and its requirements, which were correct points. I kindly ask the officials to pay attention and these points be noted.
An objection was raised as to why suitable cultural goods are not produced with justice. This objection is also ours; it is completely correct. The cultural goods we produce are not adequate. Although we have good artists, good writers, good actors, suitable displays that meet our cultural demands are few. It is necessary for cultural management to work a bit more in these areas. Of course, you know, these kinds of works are not things that can be created overnight. It is not that we say very well, let’s produce cultural goods, and right now they should go and make, for example, ten, twenty - or more or less - revolutionary, cultural, and Islamic films for six months or a year ahead. All of these require infrastructure - like natural infrastructures - until these infrastructures are provided, work does not come into being. Some of these infrastructures are not fully provided, which should have been provided over time by various governments, by various officials; some have even been destroyed in certain periods! In some periods, some of our ideological and cultural infrastructures have not only not been established but have even been destroyed! Well, now they must be put in order. However, the objection is a valid one; I also have this objection; both to the broadcasting organization, to the Ministry of Culture, and to the Art House. We have interactions with them. I sit down and discuss, argue; that is, the work that some executive officials should do, unfortunately, I have to take on myself. Recently, we have had multiple meetings with cultural officials regarding these artistic and cinematic issues and performing arts, etc. We sat down, discussed, talked; we hope, God willing, to reach some good places. In any case, your demand is a correct demand.
One of the gentlemen mentioned the issue of privatizing culture and health, which I think that point is also correct. Privatization relates to companies under Article 44, which has a specific definition. In our opinion, cultural and health issues do not fall under this privatization principle in that way. I have also been told some matters by the relevant officials. In our opinion, this objection is a valid one; it should be taken into account.
Foreign policies and the export of the revolution by students are certainly good; it is not that we say it is a useless task; no, it certainly has benefits; but keep in mind that a lot of work is being done in these areas right now. In the same area of contact with Muslims, with various nations, in Asia, in Africa, in Latin America, a lot of work is being done. In Latin America, there is no Islamic country; however, Muslim communities in Latin American countries, like Brazil, like some other countries, have Lebanese, Arab, Shia, and Muslim presence; a lot of work is being done there. The work being done is somewhat unknown to you dear youths; but in our opinion, it is not a problem, it is a good work; if it is calculated and done with a program.
Regarding discrimination, issues were raised that I have noted here in parentheses that the objection is valid. Some of the objections are indeed valid.
There was also a discussion about the reasons for the emigration of elites. One of the ladies said that when we contact the elites, they say the reason for our emigration is these: for example, inside, what should have been done has not been done; what should not have been done has been done. I do not reject these statements; it is possible that these objections are indeed valid; but the elite who, during their student years and after graduation, gets up and goes abroad, often their reasons are not these; these are excuses. There are people there who show the green garden, presenting favorable job opportunities to this student; this student thinks that now if he goes there, such and such will happen. Perhaps there are indeed government agencies that, in addition to the need for the knowledge and talent of this youth, have another motivation, and that is to fight against the Islamic Republic; hence they invest in this, take him and take him there. Now, those who go, some succeed, some do not succeed, they hit a wall, and they regret; we have such cases. On the other hand, we also have youths who have gone abroad to study without the issue of elite emigration, who have gone through very good academic stages; but their faith and religious motivation and healthy motivations have drawn them back to the country. It is not all from this side that they are moving; no, there are also youths who have gone to study, and they are coming back. We know individuals; some are geniuses, some are outstanding, some are elites; they come back, get busy; they engage in service. It is not that you assume that they all go from this side; no, they also come back, and there are facilities and work is being done.
One of the friends mentioned the issue of the attack on the university campus. I have been following this issue and I am. Of course, yes, there has been a slow movement, it has not progressed; it must progress, and God willing, it will progress; but it is not that you think the issue has been forgotten; no, it has not been forgotten. Well, there are many afflictions, many works; some of the agencies may not have a strong motivation for cooperation in this area - naturally, their motivation is weak - hence the work progresses slowly; but God willing, it will progress.
It is said that disciplinary and security measures are being taken in universities. I do not know what kind of harsh disciplinary and security measures have been taken in the university, but I know that discipline is necessary in the university. Now, if at some point there is a bit of extremism in discipline and enforcement, I do not know - it is possible - but in any case, discipline is necessary, security is necessary. The university environment cannot be neglected. Many of the enemy's plots target the university environment. You students should know that you are in that red circle. Sometimes in photos or films, when they want to specify a point, they mark it with a red circle. The enemy has placed you students in the red circle, has identified you; many of the plans are for you; to mislead you, to divert you from the fate of the country and the interests of the revolution. How can the universities be overlooked? Well, there must be attention. Yes, in our opinion, extremism and excess in any work is not good; including in this work.
One of the friends said that thought and science should not be directive. I do not have such a thing. In our society, thought is not directive; neither is science directive, nor is thought directive. Where? Specify and say. The one who fights against this issue is me. We are supporters of free thought. Of course, let me tell you, free thought does not belong in television; free thought belongs in specialized sessions. For example, suppose you hold a specialized student session on a certain political issue; two, five, ten people come there and discuss together; this is free thought. Similarly, discussions on Islamic teachings; similarly, discussions on various global schools of thought; similarly, discussions on a scientific issue. Therefore, the session must be a specialized session; otherwise, in public sessions and in the broadcasting organization, if two people come to discuss, the one who is right will not necessarily prevail; the one who will prevail is the one who is more skilled at playing the game; like the case of the picture of the snake and the name of the snake. They said: which one is the snake? People pointed to the picture of the snake and said: it is clear, this is the snake. Therefore, free thought should be in specialized sessions appropriate for each discussion; in public environments, there is no place for those discussions and debates. This does not mean that it is being imposed; no, after all, a right thought is presented; "Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good admonition and argue with them in a way that is best". This wisdom and good admonition and best argumentation is for what? "Invite to the way of your Lord". This means that this is a previously established principle, an invitation towards God. In everything, it is the same. The invitation must be made with the right language, but the direction of the invitation must be clear. It does not make sense for a person to leave the direction of the invitation free; this misleads people. People must be guided. Do you not say that governments are responsible for guiding the thoughts of the people?
In any case, good points were made. Friends have indeed raised good professional points. One of the friends said we are bleeding from the left and right of the President. Well, now your heart is bleeding - may God forbid it is blood - but let me tell you; these are not among the determining and main issues. There may be objections and criticisms - I do not want to make any judgment in this regard - someone may have an objection to a person or a work; however, we must pay attention to make the issues primary and secondary. Secondary issues should not take the place of primary issues in our motivations, in our endeavors, in the energy expended. My only message is this; otherwise, I do not object to you why you like or dislike Zayd or Amr; no, you may like it, you may dislike it - there is no objection - and I do not object that why you raised that objection in a way that does not create a problem; that too, in my opinion, is not objectionable. Just be careful that this does not take the place of primary issues. Our primary issues are other things.
The discussion of popularizing the economy and Article 44 was raised. The gentlemen claim that they are implementing Article 44 well. Of course, there are opponents, they object - both in the parliament and outside - they say Article 44 has not been implemented correctly; but the officials of the agencies say no, we are implementing it well. In my opinion, this is also one of those questions that it is good to be addressed, and the same officials should come into student gatherings and if work has indeed been done, they should say so and convince the young minds; if they cannot convince, they should at least go and make a revision in their work.
You raised objections against the broadcasting organization, your objections are valid; you raised objections against the publicization of the differences among officials, your objections are valid; I also have this objection to these gentlemen and I have told them; I have had unpleasant moments with them.
The issue of gathering in front of the parliament was raised, to which I do not express any opinion; I just want to tell you that you all complain that why the officials are not open to criticism; well, you should also be open to criticism! Openness to criticism is not only for the officials; well, if there is a criticism against the student, he should also be open to criticism. A large number gathered in front of the parliament, shouted slogans, and their slogans were not bad, but a group in the middle shouted extreme slogans. Of course, I do not say they are bad people, they are not good; no, they were just extreme, they acted youthfully; but if you also believe that these slogans were extreme, excessive, and unjustified, accept it. It should not be that you say that after all, whatever touches the collar of the student - who do not have collars! - should be criticized. It is possible that a criticism is directed at you as well; accept the criticism.
They said we are working on the issue of guardianship; it is very good. They also provided an explanation about the idea feast that made me very happy. The fact that they said a comprehensive scientific plan has been prepared that differs from the existing plan, I welcome it; they should definitely bring this to us. Our public relations office should note this gentleman's name and get it from him. Student camps are also a very good thing, and I agree with the meeting.
I have also noted some points here, but unfortunately, time is short; however, I will say: First, be careful that student organizations do not become internally divided due to differences in tastes, nor should they have friction and collision with each other. One of the prominent examples of the unity that we recommend and invite to is this. Where people are separated from each other or brought closer together, it is the principles and epistemological foundations. When these foundations are not agreed upon and accepted, they separate them; but when they are accepted, they connect them. But tastes do not; everyone has their own taste, everyone has their own inclination. One is an engineering student, one is an art student, one is a medical student - these three different tastes - and within each, there is a wide range of tastes and inclinations; one likes something, one does not like it; do not let these be a source of separation among yourselves, which I think is very important.
The second point: In matters that relate to the fate of the country, you must have an analysis and a position. The Tehran Statement was an important issue; what is your analysis of the Tehran Statement? What is your position? Do you agree? Do you disagree? Resolution 1929 of the Security Council against the Islamic Republic has been issued, or unilateral sanctions by the United States and Europe against Iran have taken shape; what is your analysis of this issue? This is not a small matter. What is your position? What should Iran do? Because they frown, they impose sanctions, they show their teeth, should we raise our hands? Should we now back down a little? Is your analysis this? Inside our country, there are political groups that have this analysis; they say when the other side shows a very fierce face, you should back down! Well, do you accept this? Should we back down? Or do you believe that any kind of retreat encourages the other side? As soon as they see that you are scared by a frown, they say, "Sir, frown!" The remedy for this person is a frown. As soon as they see that threats of beating or actual beating force you to retreat, they say, "Hit a couple more times so that he gives up all his words." The other side is like this. The calculations of the world are like this.
Another point I wanted to remind you dear ones is this: Brothers and sisters! Take the strengthening of epistemological foundations seriously. Of course, today when I look, I see that compared to seven or eight years ago when Ramadan sessions were held here and friends came to speak, attention to epistemological foundations among students has strengthened. Some of the statements you make indicate the strength of these foundations in your minds; this is understood; however, at the same time, the entire organizations should take the strengthening of epistemological foundations seriously so that later, it overflows from the organizations onto the entire student body. Strengthening epistemological foundations is very necessary. Weakness in these foundations will cause great harm to the student body of the country and the entire organizations.
Another point is that all organizations should strengthen their connections with the student body. In my opinion, do not neglect the student body. Now they said that these idea feast camps are being held; well, this is good; these are one of the ways to connect with the student body; however, in my opinion, throughout the year and on various occasions, the connection with the student body and also with valuable professors should be increased.
Regarding the humanities, two of the ladies spoke here; their points are correct, their objections are valid; this is our point; this is what I am pursuing and I raised it a year or two ago. Of course, what we said means that professors, experts, researchers, and scholars should pursue the formulation of humanities that conform to Islamic foundations; that is, humanities that are not shaped based on incorrect and false materialistic philosophies; just as today Western humanities are like this. Ultimately, if political sciences or economics or philosophy or management and other humanities are based on a materialistic view of the world and built with material values, they cannot meet the demands and aspirations of a society that is Muslim and faithful to Islamic teachings.
In conclusion, I would like to say one sentence to all of you brothers and sisters. Know, my dear ones! Fortunately, the trend of progress in the country, in various fields, is a good and desirable trend. The trend of justice is also good. Well, this decade has been named the decade of progress and justice. When we say progress, we mean scientific progress, technological progress, political progress, moral progress; all of these are considered. Well, good works are being done; at least, infrastructures for great works and leaps are being prepared. Regarding justice, at least this is that this thought is becoming widespread; that is, everyone is becoming convinced that we must pursue justice, we must implement justice, we must implement these aspirations in the environment of implementation - which was also mentioned in the friends' speeches - this itself is progress. Of course, this does not mean that we are satisfied with this level of progress in the field of justice; no, the aspirations and efforts are very high; aspirations are high, efforts are high; but I want to tell you that we are moving forward, we are progressing. This thirty-one or thirty-two years since the life of the Islamic Republic has been a thirty-one or thirty-two-year movement forward; despite the hostilities that the enemies have made. Our enemies today are not as strong as they were thirty years ago. Today, America is not as strong as it was thirty years ago. Back then, I told a gathering of officials, my belief is the same, all the evidence and signs confirm this; the America of the Reagan administration was much stronger than the America of the Obama administration, and before Obama, Bush Jr.! It is truly like this; they have gone towards weakness. There is no sign that this curve will again move upwards from their side; on the contrary, there are many signs that the upward curve of the Iranian nation and the Iranian system will continue to rise, God willing, with a steeper slope.
O Lord! Place these believing and young hearts under Your mercy and grace. O Lord! Make what we said, what we heard, for You and in Your way, and accept it from us with Your generosity. O Lord! Make our lives for Islam and for God, our deaths for Islam and for God. O Lord! Do not separate us from Your friends and chosen ones. Make the heart of the holy Imam of the Age pleased and satisfied with us. Make the pure spirit of the Imam and the pure spirit of the martyrs pleased and satisfied with us. Bring the hearts of these brothers and sisters students closer together in the direction of unity in the path of truth and in the path of God.
Peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings.
