Message of Thanks to Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Reyshahri on the Occasion of the Ceremony of Renunciation of Polytheists in Mecca

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Agha Haj Sheikh Mohammad Mohammadi Reyshahri (may his noble presence endure)

With greetings and salutations. Upon hearing the news of the magnificent ceremony of renunciation of polytheism and polytheists, I bow in gratitude to God (exalted be His greatness), considering it a result of divine grace and the special attentions of His Holiness Baqiyatullah (may my soul be sacrificed for him) upon our faithful, sincere, and devoted nation.

To the pilgrims of the House of God who, with their active presence, have been able to imbue the great Hajj ceremony with the Abrahamic and Muhammadan (peace be upon them) spirit and bring joy to the sacred soul of the departed Imam (may God be pleased with him), congratulations on this great success. I hope that the divine grace will complete their success in fully performing the Hajj rituals.

I find it necessary to express my gratitude to all the active Iranian and non-Iranian brothers and sisters, especially the dear veterans, the oppressed freed captives, and the honorable families of the martyrs, particularly the martyrs of the bloody Hajj - who spread the fragrance of jihad and martyrdom in this ceremony. I sincerely appreciate and thank you, your excellency, and other dear servants of the pilgrims, as well as the honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs, each of whom has sincerely strived in their own way to elevate the word of monotheism in this ceremony.
