Tree planting day and the ceremony of tree planting across the country is a blessed day and a blessed ceremony; because plants and trees are a source of blessing in human life. Blessed means something that contains blessing. Plants are a source of blessing; they produce air, conserve water, provide products for humanity, and beautify the environment; in every aspect, plants are beneficial for humans. Therefore, everyone must pay attention to the issue of plants, tree planting, pastures, forests, and everything related to trees and green growth.

One of the things that officials must pay attention to is to prevent the destruction of existing trees in cities. In Tehran, there are orchards, large houses, or gardens within the city that their owners or others are eyeing to destroy them; to remove the trees in order to use the land in some way; strict care must be taken to prevent this action, which harms urban life and comfort.

One of the important necessary actions in the field of tree planting and green spaces is the issue of watershed management. If the relevant agencies take watershed management seriously and give it importance—whether it pertains to the Ministry of Agriculture or the Ministry of Energy—both unnecessary floods will be prevented, and dust storms will be mitigated, along with the other benefits of plants and trees. In this watershed management, if they can plant fruit trees in the watershed centers, the benefits may be greater; of course, the determination of this matter is up to specialists who must provide their opinions. God willing, all the people who are planting trees today and in these days will be encompassed by divine grace, blessing, and satisfaction.
