Appointment of Mr. Morteza Rezaei as Head of IRGC Intelligence Protection

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Brother Pasdar Mr. Morteza Rezaei,

Based on the proposal of the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and with trust in your faith, commitment, competence, and honorable background in the sacred defense fronts, as well as the valuable experiences you have gained in various military responsibilities within the Corps, I hereby honor you with the rank of Brigadier General and appoint you as the Head of the Intelligence Protection Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Your duty is to advance the protection work of the Corps with the precision, perseverance, and comprehensive understanding that this great task requires, utilizing committed and competent forces and in accordance with the approved statute of that organization and the communicated directives. Given the important and sensitive role of this organization in maintaining the health and sanctity of the Corps, the respected commanders and officials of the Corps are obliged to fully cooperate with you, and the diligent and devoted staff of the Protection Organization should consider your presence at the head of that organization as an opportunity to increase their efforts and cooperation.

Please provide regular reports on the progress of tasks and assigned matters to me.

It is hoped that in this sensitive responsibility, by maintaining coordination with the General Office of Intelligence Protection of the Commander-in-Chief, you will become a source of outstanding services. I find it necessary to sincerely thank Hojjat al-Islam Mr. Saeedi for his tireless and valuable efforts and services during his tenure in that organization and wish him success in his new position.
