Appointment of Hojjat al-Islam Haj Seyyed Abutaleb Mahmoudi Golpayegani as Friday Prayer Leader of Arak

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Thanks be to God, Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our Master Muhammad and his pure family, especially the remainder of God on earth, may our souls be sacrificed for him.

Afterwards, considering that Ayatollah Agha Haj Sheikh Abolfazl Khansari (may his noble presence be prolonged) has resigned and withdrawn from the Friday prayer leadership of Arak, while expressing gratitude and appreciation for his efforts and services both in the pulpit and Friday prayer and in matters related to the imposed war and in the establishment of cultural and medical foundations and others, we appoint Hojjat al-Islam Agha Haj Seyyed Abutaleb Mahmoudi Golpayegani (may his blessings continue) as our representative and the Friday prayer leader of Arak, so that by the grace and divine success, he may attend to his important Islamic and social duties. He is also authorized to manage religious affairs and collect religious funds and spend them in the prescribed expenditures, and it is necessary to send the appointment of the two blessed shares to me for spending in the sacred seminaries. In all matters, I recommend him to what our righteous predecessors have advised, namely observing piety and avoiding and adhering to caution in religious and worldly matters. Peace be upon Islam and upon our believing brothers, and God's mercy and blessings.
