Text of His Eminence's Message to the Secretary-General of Hezbollah Lebanon on the Occasion of the Zionist Aggression

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Esteemed Hujjat al-Islam Mr. Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, Honorable Secretary-General of Hezbollah, may his dignity be preserved:

Peace be upon you for your patience. The savage aggression of the Zionist aggressors against the civilian population of southern Lebanon and the massacre of innocent and defenseless people demonstrate their inability to confront the faithful, brave, and self-sacrificing forces of Hezbollah. The enemy, armed to the teeth and relying on comprehensive support from America, is clearly frustrated by the crushing blows of the youth of Hezbollah, who are equipped more than anything with the weapon of faith and sacrifice, and they vent their insane rage on women and children. The usurping Zionists commit murder and crime before the eyes of the world's people, engage in terrorism, kidnapping, and bombing of residential areas, destroy villages, and render people homeless, while governments and organizations claiming to support human rights watch all this with indifference. This situation further proves the righteousness of your position, you Mojahedin in the path of God. Those who think that negotiating with the enemy, insolent and brutal as the usurping Zionists, can lead to the restoration of the rights of the Palestinian and Lebanese people and the salvation of Islamic lands are deceiving themselves. The correct path is the one you have chosen, and it is this path that, by God's grace, will bring the enemy to its knees.

Your path is the path of God and the path of God's saints, and with patience, perseverance, and fearlessness of the enemy of God, it will bring divine victory, and you have experienced this many times in the past decade in Lebanon and have witnessed the fulfillment of God's promise: 'And Allah will surely support those who support Him.' Blessed are you with the reward of the Mojahedin in the path of God.

I, with sorrow and regret for the martyrdom of a number of dear youth of Hezbollah and civilians in the southern regions of Lebanon, and with joy for your astonishing steadfastness and courage, extend my condolences and congratulations on the recent bloody events to the entire nation of Lebanon, especially the brothers of Hezbollah, and to the families and survivors of the dear martyrs, and to you personally. I pray for God's grace and victory and the special attention of the Imam of the Age, may our souls be sacrificed for him, for all of you.
